    Yao is awesome and one of the greatest rof keys ever even if it was short.

    He's one of the top 10 most gifted offensive centers of all time and would have won a few rings imo if he hadn't got hurt. He was a true franchise/superstar player and was unstoppable his last playoff go around with artest in 09.

    Glad he made the HoF much deserved and is always good to see a rocket get in.

    This is the bsketball HoF and not the NBA HoF. He did so much for the game of basketball all over the world. All these NBA players go to China for promotion every summer and make a lot of money and they have big Yao to thank.

    Great player but even better teammate and person.

    Congrats big fella true pioneer of the game.

    We will never see another guy as big as him with the skill/athletism and BBIQ as Yao. He truely is one of a Kind and I'm so glad I saw every game he ever played.

    Mcgrady will prob get in tbh but he is not more deserving than Yao. Both had great success on the court but underachieved (Yao was from injuories, tmac commitment) but Yao did so much for the globalization of the game.

    In 30 years people will still know who Yao Ming is tmac will be someone onky hard core fans will remember like a george gervin.

    George Gervin was better than Tmac.

    he led the league 4 times in scoring and played 12 years for San Antonio
