i tend to do mine everyday or every other day. just routine i guess. takes seven to ten minutes depending on whether i'm listening to the radio or not every morning.

mach three turbo is the best thing ever created.

 

I'd give anything to be able to shave my head. Problem is I'd look like a space alien. Or even worse, I'd look like Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins. My head is whiter than a cue-ball.

So do you guys use shampoo or soap on your heads?

I started going bald when I was 21 and started shaving my head a year later, and have ever since. Yeah, you wont be able to keep up the shaving everyday but you can usually do it 2-3 times a week. DOn't let it grow in to long or they you will get the white scalp.

I am with Omega. Usa a Mach 3 Turbo. I don't even use shaving cream with that bad boy. I just use soap or shampoon.

Most chicks dig a smooth dome. I got more dates after i started shaving than I did before.

 

It also seems more actors are getting time in movies and such to show the "bald-look"...Hope for the best with your choice, Manny...

 

Excellent choice, Manny. I made the choice about 2 years ago. There was no use fighting what was already happening.

I think most women, and men, realize it takes balls AND confidence to do what you did. Women love a man with confidence.

And think of all the money you will save on shampoo, haircuts and so-called hair growing products.

 

For those of us who are too skeert to shave our dome, go with the Propecia or Procure. I shaved my head January 1st at 12:15 am and have never looked back.

It took almost a month for the color to even out to the same shade as my skin.

I shave every day (I like it clean) and use "the conditioner" by paul mitchell for lubrication in place of shaving cream. I also use a Mach 3 which lasts just 2 days before needing to be replaced.

The only downside is I now spend more money (razors) and time (10mins ever morning) on my hair than I ever did before.

Never forget the sunblock. Trust me on this one, a burned head is not a good thing.

 

Well I'm 24 and have been starting to go thin for the last few years. For about the last year I've been considering the shaved look, maybe with a #2 or so. I'm just afraid I'll look really weird. If you recall, I had a balding thread somewhere. I have been taking Propecia now for 3+ months and I believe I am seeing results. I believe my hair is no longer falling out like it was, my hair is thicker and healthier, and I'm seeing some new growth where my bald spot is(it's actually shrunken in size it seems).

It could be my imagination but I don't think so. Anyway, they say your hair should stop falling out after 3 months and some new hair grows back at 6 months if it is working. So, I have a ways to go. But, I honestly feel I have more and healthier, thicker hair than I did before I started Propecia. The differences so far are subtle but they are there!

 

I'm 28 and started thinning out w/ the widows peak in college. Fortunately, there have not been any changes since then. I keep my hair pretty short but I also like it a little spikey.. I've thought about shaving it as well, just to see what I'd look like bald but I'm a big dude and some of my friends already think I can be a little intimidating. I'm not sure if a bald head would attract women or scare them. I feel like I'd look like a cross between Uncle Fester and Jay Buhner.. I think I'll just stick with the ultra short fade unless mother nature continues the recession.

Why wait until you start to go bald? I shaved my head last summer, and I plan to do so soon again.

Isn't it amazing how much you get your head rubbed? Its like there is something phalic about it. well I guess there is, but it appears that woman are not shy about rubbing the phallic shaved head.

oh yeah and definately invest in a hat you like or sunblock.
I am a dark man, but I wore a hat the entire time I was in vegas, and always wear one at the beach. Sure not 100% of the time, but pleeenety often.
