lots of people are forgetting about the grizzlies. their next 3 games are against kings, warriors and bucks, and they could win all 3. we may get closer, but so could the grizzlies.

 

My good sir, why are the houston rockets not bolded? We can beat the spurs. We've beat them twice this season.

 

We have to beat them to do this anyway, o that should help in taking them out of the picture considering they are already a game behind us. Their schedule is fairly tough in April.

im trying to be optimistic but the way we are playing no defense and with battier out and hill is a question mark i dont know if the rockets have enough to make one last push for the playoffs.

With the injury situation and the inability to beat teams like Chicago....heck we barely beat the Knicks...I think it's safe to say this team isn't going to be able to finish strong enough to catch any of the teams ahead of us.

While not mathematically impossible, I think it's safe to say our playoff hopes are over.

 

I want to see the Rox in the playoffs but it just looks unlikely with all the injuries and the loss tonight (just lost our gained ground from yesterday...)

Tonight is just about the nail in the coffin for playoff hopes. We'd have to win out to have a real shot barring an absolute meltdown by Portland or SA. Can't even have cautious optimism about it after that pathetic shooting and defense tonight. We really missed Shane and Jeffries in the second half on defense, and they certainly couldn't have done any worse on offense.

I'm afraid to say, that now with the injuries...game over.
