I was really surprised that Yao made the list. He shot 50% from the field and 80% from the line in "game-winning" situations. That's pretty good, even if he hasn't had as many chances as some of these other guys.

From all the people that demand that we keep TMac, I have heard not one compelling argument or objective reason to do so. Just yelling "keep" him. There are several compelling reasons to trade him, depending on what we get in return. His ailing back, extremely high salary, lack of leadership qualities are a few.

There is a strong possibility that Tracy McGrady is damaged goods [as much as we all hope that he isn't] Is it worth the next eight years of doom or should we use him as our asset while he is still can be traded? This question must be faced as it is very probable!

And who would you rather adorn the jersey? Stevie Franchise? The fact is, the Rockets have one of the best basketball players in the league on their roster.

What do you want to see out of T-Mac that would show his leadership? More handshakes? More high-fives? More ass-slaps? T-Mac doesn't show very much emotion, period. It's his demeanor, not his leadership.

I guess Tim Duncan isn't a leader since he doesn't show much emotion on the court either. Stands to reason, doesn't it?

And since Mr. Garnett (who by the way is a great closer  ) screams his head off on the court, it stands to reason that KG is a better leader than TD.

Oh and let's not even get into Ronny Turiaf's leadership qualities...

T-Mac works well with Yao, he entrusts him and let's him do his thing. T-Mac trusts his teammates and more than that, he likes them. They all look up to him as a leader, and I don't see how he fails in that department.

    High salary: yes, absolutely.
Bad Back for the rest of his career: maybe, maybe not.
    Lack of leadership: definitely not.

I'd say Rashard Lewis. Economically we could pick off a couple of other valuable Sonics to bolster our bench. Plus his accurrate shooting is great.
