we should draft shabazz muhammad !!!!! with all this talk dwight favoring mavericks .. we should draft shabazz muhammad because he has great upside. we should draft him and then go out and sign Al jefferson and still have cap to sign a jr smith or somebody to add to our perimeter game

    PG Lin/Beverly
    SG Harden/(J.R. Smith?)
    SF Parsons/ Muhammad
    PF Jefferson/Jones
    C Asik/Smith

what do yall think about that roster?

No we should draft Ricardo Ledo. He is the perfect fall back plan.

that is a really good idea !!!!! with all this talk about shabazz being overrated .. we should take him and ignore that. we should draft him and then go out and cripple ourselves financially by adding mediocre-to-decent players who wont help us become a contender

Yeah, we should give up on the Dwight chase we've been planning for a year because of a Broussard report that also lists us as a favorite.

Yea. Well, that's not likely. Remember the whole thing about getting the pick in the first place is about shedding salary. Hence the Euro-stash strategy.

Now, if we could dump White in the process, that might open up enough room to sign the pick to play now.

FTR, I think even though weaknesses in his game were exposed and he dropped out of favor, the kid may be a nice player in a few years. Some team may get a bargain if he's picked up later in the first round.

PLUS, he's got a cool name.

That's a great idea. Why don't you email Morey.

Cleveland will be drafting for us tonight, lol.

This is an important draft for Cleveland. It's essentially completing their vision for a big three. Team has lot of potential if all goes well for them tonight. Let the crapshoot begin.

Interestingly enough, their culture would indicate success when drafting a good shooting point guard, and a good shooting big, both of who lead by example.

The Rockets cannot afford to draft in the first round and not take a player who will not committ to stay overseas unless they are willing to move another player out of D-Mo or Terrence Jones in time to clear the capspace needed to sign Dwight.

Any other year I would say that Shabaaz is exactly the Morey-type of gamble he would take on a player with red flags that drops out of the lottery... not this year.

If the Rockets get that pick from Cleveland they will have to be taking a Euro-stash to secure their cap space.

Being from Providece I am definitely a big Ricardo Ledo fan. That said for Houston I think they need to draft depth at the 4 and 5 spot in case for any reason Dwight does not come to Houston and in that area Gorgui Dieng reminds of a Serge Ibaka type player but can hit open jumpers and protect the rim. Ledo may be the better player but Dieng may fill a bigger Rockets need

I think so. He had at least practiced with the Puerto Rican national team.

JR smith wants to retire a Knick, they can have this fool.

Tony Allen is great and all but the guy can't shoot a 3 or make a lay up to save his life, no thanks.

Why should you play Tony clutch time offensively? Defensively he's much better option clutch time than Harden.
