If we still need an outfielder...

    If we need another OFer we can sign Justice(my fav. player). He HAS been to the playoffs every year of his career but one, and has the most playoff gmaes,rbi, and hits(maybe) ever.:cool:

    Exactly my point. I'm not saying I think that Merced should be moved but that I think out of everyone else, save Daryl, he is most likely to be moved. He is the the only player left in the OF group with any trade value that the Astros would IMO be willing to give up, unless it was in some unlikely blockbuster deal.

    sanders isnt that expensive...i think he only made 1 million with the giants and dbacks

    hes been hitting 25 homers and 100 rbi every yr...does that considered sucky?

    In 11 seasons he's hit 25 homers 3 times and never had a 100-RBI season. Plus he strikes out waaaaaaaaay too much & seldom draws walks. He does nothing to help the Astros.

    at least the 25 hr's were the past seasons, just like kent 5 yrs ago, he had never been over 20 hr's. and no doubt hes much better than hidalgo. plus hes cheap;)
