Seriously... I really want to know why this matters as a Rocket fan?

I really don't understand the logic.

Are members here fans of the Houston Rockets or fans of the BBS?

The lower the # the better for DRtg. The Laker season was his worst season, not his best.

seriously no. i absolutely love the guy for his off the court attributes, but I have zero interest in seeing him back here. its just not a healthy relationship for all parties involved.

Is clutch fans representative of rockets fans as a whole ? If it is I say you can't bring him back . People here are unable to separate JLin the player from JLin the person and his fans .

I feel like I'm crazy for saying this ... There was always a bigger LOH presence than there was LOF . I'm using those words as a historian not as an indication of fans really only hating or loving Lin .

Lin in his time here was inconsistent . He was appropriately paid the first two seasons . The year we traded him he was wildly overpaid . He has been James' best backcourt mate here when he was playing well .... And was pretty awful when playing bad .

He was fairly one dimensional when he was here and could not develop a consistent shot. His defense was fair-average . He had good stealing instincts , but lacked top end lateral athletisicm.

I haven't watched him much in Charlotte. My guess is that he has improved around 5-10 percent as a result of being more consistent . I'm not sure if his top end is as high as it was in Houston though because I doubt the ball as much as he could here with walker playing in Charlotte .

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back , depending on the contract of course, but I have him behind Conley and llull on my wish list for PG's . There might even be one or two more I would take ahead of him .

Maybe he should start shooting 1,000 3s a day? He can't really shoot it which limits his entire game especially as a Rocket. Just not a fan of Lin's game and it really did get crimped bad in the Play Offs based on what I saw.

I don't think 10m for playing two seasons is overpaid.

I think he will play better under Mike than anyone else. Might as well give him a one-year deal if we can't find anyone else.

He was paid $16.6 million over the two season in Houston, but only $10 million counted toward the cap. His 3 year deal was paid by the average each year. They also had to give up a 1st rounder to get him off the books.

If we get Lin I hope we're also able to pry away Batum. Those two had excellent chemistry.

I'd rather pay Lionel Richie to have a permanent gig at Toyota Center than have Lin play basketball with the Rockets again.

Seriously what the hell has Lin done?

Lionel Richie was part of "We are the World"

He helped the world recognize the problem of hunger in Africa.
Lin only helped some fat kid who didn't get picked to play pick up ball in Palo Alto feel important.

Clutchfans, we are the world, we ain't the Lin fans
