is that possible for Yao to come back? We really need a big man in finals.

...Somewhat related to this, can anyone get the Rehab thread back up? Last I read Yao was doing well...and wasn't this one of the possibilities disscused? Anxious to see it. Yao has always been somewhat of a quick healer, so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to see him first round...

Yeah. So using his logic Phoenix should have traded Stoudemire if they had gotten past the WCFs a few years ago.

It's way too early. Let see yao wlak on his own first. Now, saying this, Francis is walking on his own now, but the media says he need 4 mths
to recover. IF he can walk without crutches, he can start light rehab
and does anyone has any idea whether he could be available early?

if we actually made it to the finals why would we suddenly need him more for a finals against the east than say against san antonio or the lakers? boston or detroit isn't better than the best out west.

and yao isn't going anywhere. his commercial value alone will keep him around for as long as he wants to be here.

Phoenix was also fortunate not to play the Spurs in the 2nd Round or even a team that had great post player (beyond Brand with the Clippers), but he doesn't change the game like a Center or bigger PF does.
