The Showtime Lakers had an old slow Kareem playing the 5 and he didn't slow the rest down. They used him when they had to run a half court set because the other team's defense got back fast enough.
i would sign Bynum one a one year contract and see if he can last the season and play like we know he can and if he produces and his body stays sound, then sign him long term.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Nah, I don't think so. It's a real risky proposition either way. He plays his best for a year and then next thing you know the Bynum as the long-term C talks begin.

Signing Bynum would set us back 4-5 years.. Or however long his contract lasts. He hasn't even gotten to play for philly and they've already given up on him.
i mean we can possibly get him for less then 10 mil a year and make sure hes contract is not guaranteed incase he gets hurt he is a easilly 20 10 guy when healthy
Rofl. It's not the worst idea ever. Bynum if healthy is really good. IF being the operative word, but still
Next one would be Anthony Davis or Joachim Noah I know teams are not going to give them up but who knows
