If we could, would you want to go back to old jerseys?

At least we don't have this year's all star jerseys...

 

but the fact that we abandoned our original uni's is kinda sad in the first place. The Celtics and Lakers didn't do it. Because of tradition. I agree that we're better off jsut going back to the old ones - at least there's a certain classiness to sticking to your roots.

 

have you guys (while shopping for jerseys) seen the mid-level rockets jersey...it's all nasty looking with cotton material red winged out shoulders..and many of the other teams mid-level jersey's look pretty decent..I had a friend buy me the red mcgrady as a christmas gift..I took it back because it looks so nasty and got an astros instead...they really need a change.

 

the celtics just added some different color trim and boom new instant classic..they look good

 

The current Jerseys are nice... but the old ones rock too... I say save the old ones for Retro night, ect...

I do think we should have an alternate jersey that is black with red trim though... that would be beautiful

 

Nope...those jeserys bring me good memories but let's face it...they're not that good looking...but the current ones aren't without they're problems either...if they get rid of the logo on the shorts and made the font larger they would look just about perfect.

Yes, however, I would emphasize the gold more and eliminate the yellow. Our primary colors would be Red, Gold, and White. I would use the Western Conference ASG jersey's as a starting point.

 

i would never wear the new jersey, but i'd be fine wearing an old one. our new ones suck really bad.

the rockets should take a page from the astros who changed uni's 30 million times before coming up with something that looked decent.

but the sad thing is that our 90's uniforms were fine. just modernize them a bit that's all that would be needed.

Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes. I like our new jerseys, don't get me wrong, but I LOVE our CHAMPIONSHIP jerseys. Screw the Hardwood Classics -- let's go that way EVERY night. Old logo too -- bring some HISTORY back to HOUSTON.

 

Hell yeah I would! Those old Rockets jersey's are the best.

 

I definitely prefer the classic jerseys. I like how teams like the Lakers, Knicks, Celtics & Bulls never go too far away from the uniforms they've had since the 80's. I feel like the Rockets belong in that echelon, so I wish we'd have stuck with the uniforms that Hakeem & Clyde wore for our first two championships.

 

OMG...I really want one of those jerseys, guess ill be saving up for both a t-mac and yao jersy. anyways if the rockets do win a championship then i would like to see them rock the old ones.
