Honestly, I think you're just reading a little too much into it. All Les really came out and said is "I don’t think we’re going to part ways with Tracy." To me, it sounds like the Rockets has already talked to everyone they were going to talk to about McGrady, found out no one wanted to trade for him, so Les makes the announcement that he probably will not be traded. I don't see why there has to be an alterior motive to what EVERYBODY says. There have been multiple reports that we tried to trade McGrady. There have been multiple reports that teams have turned us down. The timing of us being shot down pretty much coincides with the timing of Les saying that we're probably not trading Tracy. So, it stands to reason, that Les reached the conclusion that we won't be able to trade Tracy McGrady so he came out and just honestly told us that he doesn't expect a trade to happen. And obviously if you're going to keep a player, you're not going to rip him in a press conference and instead say that you're happy to have him.
only dumb people will miss JVG. To miss TMAC, you have to be the dumbest. TMAC wont have the surgery on his knee. He will play when we are winning and will go to doctor after we lose.

TSlack has already cost us 4 or 5 games this season. Why would we want him to play again this year? We would especially not want him back in the playoffs. Imagine if we didn't have TSlack ... we'd be the number 2 seed in the West.
I agree getting rid of t-mac is like yakking, you hate doin it, it stinks but you feel instantly better when your done. The guy simply refuses to play within the system and it hurts the whole team.

TMAC will not get Microfrature surgery....why would he ..next year is a contract year for him...he wants to get paid...if he gets the surgery, he won't play next season..no team will give him big money in his last contract...thats why I think this is just a ploy by TMAC...it doesn't make any sense for him...he just doesn't want to get traded...which is low for him to sabotage the Rockets... I will be so happy if Morey somehow trades him...just get us something in return and I woiuld love to stick it to STACY!!!
