Wafer or Barry, not Luther. Luther should be benched or traded. There are pros and cons to each. Wafer is looking very good both shooting and driving to the basket. Maybe with him in the starting line-up we will get more fast break points. He still stands around a little too much in the half-court, but with playing time I bet you will see him more comfortable with the offense and moving around. I think he is better on defense than Barry. Barry has been shooting miserably so far this season, but it is obvious he understands the offense about as well as anyone. I think his passing ability would make Scola even more effective as Scola breaks free quite often but does not receive the pass. You can be sure if Barry has the ball it will be delivered on time and target. Playing with Yao should get Barry more looks and his shot will probably come around. Wafer will add even more speed to the second unit. It is a pretty awesome contrast to the first unit and will drive opponents mad as they have to adapt to different styles several times a game. Brooks, Wafer, Landry, Artest(Battier) makes for a really athletic team. It can even work with Yao in the middle as he can make the outlet pass and a lot of the time not even need to run down the court. Barry adds veteren leadership to the second team which can get out of control every once in a while. Brooks and Barry seem to have developed a chemistry already. In summation, I would start Barry, but Wafer would get more minutes. I like the contrasting styles of the first and second unit and I also think we need to get Barry playing better and playing with Yao and Scola should allow him to get in more of a comfort zone like he had at SA with their prodding half-court offense.

That's absolutely no Luther Head.Hope Coach Adelman's eyes won't be clouded by his thought.Seeing is believing.To see what Luther did on the court,I doubt he's still had alot of chances to get out as the 6th man to contribute to our team. Last night he just turned the ball over twice as exact the same pass.wtf was he doing with the ball? is that sizzling hot and just wanna throw it away to the defender in front of him?. Come on, put Waffle on the floor and whop the opponent Von for 3!
I think for starting lineup, if Battier is available then he would be our guy at the 2. His backup would be Wafer. Barry is more of our closing guy as his shooting is more consistent. Head will get some PT too, hopefully he could show why he still deserves to be on this team. Wafer pretty much beat him to it.
May be they read the question wrong and thinking who shouldn't start if Tmac is out. I agree that we should try Wafer over Barry. Barry is a good veteran player, we need him to guide Brooks when they are playing against the 2nd units
Wafer is playing well in his role as a reserve, Barry seems to need more good players around him to work well, so start barry, i don´t want to mess with things that are working, so start barry. In the other hand we all know that Head will be the same starting or off the bench, scrub.
i dont have a problem with head staring as long as he does not get the lions share of the playing time. Head in low doses can be effective
We all want Wafer to start, but if you are asking who will start. I think it will probably be Luther.
I wanna see what Wafer can do with more time because he's been lookin' sweet. Head, I'm so over him at this point; all he can do is shoot some 3s while he screws up everything else. Barry is great, but he has no business starting; he's way better for the team coming off the bench.
