Adleman seems to be giving Wafer minutes as backup, I hope he gives Wafer the start over Head because he is a bigger guard. Another option is to move Artest to the SG spot and play Landry at the small foward until Battier recovers.
I'll go with waffle wafer! Absolutely no doubt about that, altho Barry is a more decent ball handler than Wafer. We need somebody who can attack the rim and drive hard into the paint and draw the foul to shoot the fts.Wafer is the best choice on my mind.
he has to shut it down NOW, rather than later. it's obvious his inconsistency is from the knee. he tried to play through it but it ain't working. he should just be like battier and play when HE'S READY. right now he's not. i would start wafer personally. he's a good shooter. barry's role has been off the bench for the past 6-7 years. don't change that.
If Tmac is out,who voted for luther? definitely wafer should start over luther. wafer got size energy and ability to drive to the rim. i love that guy, he is the most suitable man before SB returns.
I voted Barry, not Wafer, but something I admitting that if Wafer keep on his good performance,he will take Head's place, even before barry become our starter when Tmac is out..
I get the feeling that Barry will start but will end up getting about the same amount of time as Wafer.
It'll be a tragedy to start vafer who has been cut by other NBA teams time after time. However, no one is less better to start than a female who is going to retire. I would rather to see wafer starting than see a female holding our starting 2 position, I'm really tired of a female's taking our starting 2 for four seasons and I don't want to see that any more. Trade her even for some 2nd rounders, but I'm afraid no team wants to trade a 2nd rounder for a retiring female who is 6'8 and has 233 pounds of fat.
Wafer is a better version of Luther, so this is a poll, essentially, of Barry v. Wafer. Now, since Rafer Alston is back in the starting lineup, we don't need more than one playmaker out there, in Brent. However, we DO need a spot-up, spot-on shooter. This is where Wafer > Barry. Although Barry is great at threes, Wafer has better speed and confidence to drive into the lane, or take it from outside the 3pt line. However, if Rafer WASN'T starting, I would go with Barry in the starting line up. PG Rafer Alston Aaron Brooks SG Von Wafer Brent Barry
Wafer. I remember when I saw the Rockets play Golden State along time ago, this one kid kept scoring at will on Steve.. some unknown named Gilbert Arenas we know how that guy turned out!
Wafer has athleticism and moves without the ball, I think the offense will initially run better without Tmac.....same thing happened last year when he went out. DD
Wafer should start. He can get his own shot and is our most athletic SG. Barry should continue to be a tandem with Brooks. Head should not see the court unless we're up 30.
Which instantly means we are only up 20 when Luther comes in and turns it over. Morey should have NEVER picked up the option on his contract. DD
Barry should be the starter and would make the first unit stronger, but it would probably be better team wise to keep him paired with the second unit and let Von Wafer use his energy to get the game started and the starters moving with some energy. If he breaks down, then you bring Barry in. With this team, the minutes just get spread out a little bit. Brooks sees more minutes, Barry sees more, Wafer sees more, even Scola, Ron and Landry, (Head will see some too, but if he doesn't preform well, say good bye). Shane ought to be coming back soon too.
Exactly. You understood the math without me mentioning anything. If we're up 20, it's an instant 10pt game, and based on past experiences I'm not comfortable with just a 10pt lead.
