As I stated in another thread I would love to see a Kobe and Lebron-less finals. I am so sick of the NBA marketing machine and I would like nothing better than to see Stern agonizing over his two superstars not in the finals.

If the Rockets don't make it I'm pulling for the Nuggets, or as much as I hate to admit it would root for the Mavs over the Fakers.

I'll be rooting for the Nuggets, just so Stern can cry himself to sleep all summer until he has another opportunity to fabricate a Kobe/LeBron rivalry.

The Playoffs are dead to me without the Rockets. College football can't come soon enough!

If the Rockets lose...what's basketball? It's baseball season.

Interesting that Azadre fails to include the Nuggets in the equation. 'sup with that? :D

If we're out, I'm all about the Nuggies going all the way.

What can I say... I have a soft spot for Denver teams.

I can't stand rooting for George Karl. I never liked the guy since he coached those Seattle teams that gave the Rockets hell. He just seems like a sneaky troll creature or something. If the Rockets don't win it, LeBron and the Cavs it is...

I like LeBron's game and demeanor. The guy has fun without being a complete ass about it no matter how good he gets. Unlike Kobe and the Lakers. The Celtics? I can't find anything to like about that team except for Tom Thibodeau.

    Id root for the Magic.

Howard is likeable, Rafer and Rashard have Houston ties, Hedo is the TURKISH MICHAEL JORDAN, Stan Van Gundy is JVG brother, etc.

Magic - Rashard graduated from Elsik and came from Houston
Nuggets- Billups is the only reason
Cavs- LeBron is simply out of this world, but man will everyone ride him if he wins

    ↓ don't care bout these
Lakers- Used to think they were alright until this series
Celtics - punk team after the finals..
    Mavericks- DALLAS?!?!?

I'm really going for Denver then. I just love underdogs with heart.

Although LBJ is amazing and everyone wants to see the Lakers-Cavs, I feel like the NBA machine somehow 'wins' if I root for the Cavs. I staunchly believe in meritocracy and feel that LBJ is only solidifying his greatness rather than sweating for it when Stern helps him along. So, I'm pulling for the Magic instead.

If the Rockets get knocked out I want to see a Magic-Nuggets Finals. I like upsets and dethroned anointed matchups. So much hate for both sides during last years games.

I'm definitely rooting for a Nuggets-Cavs Finals if the Rockets aren't in it. I can be happy with either or those teams winning.

I agree. That's how I feel as well. Sure, I will be watching games because I love NBA but the season will be pretty much done. I'll be waiting for the Rockets next year.

Lakers blew out the Nuggets in the last game of the season and the Cavs at home.

If we don't win it, the Lakers will eventually win it.

If the Lakers win, I feel better because we went six games with the eventual Champion.

I'm going to make a bet right now...no other Laker series will go longer than 5 games. We will have the longest series with the Lakers this year...something to be proud of since we're missing 2 superstars.
