When is Al-Jazeera (English version) coming to the US again? I heard later this year or next year. THAT is when the REAL fireworks will begin, that is when Americans will have access to real time coverage of the war (cameras don't lie, people do).

You mean they don't air opposing views like this? If so, I do question their perceived "independence".
They do air opposing views on stories like that. Sometimes their written blurbs don't have opposing views in them, or list they don't always have quotes from opposing sources. I hadn't heard there was going to be an on-air English version of Al-Jazeera. That will be something to watch.
It is OK, these people don't even know anything about the channel except for the propoganda they are fed back here by O'Reilly and Donald Rumsfield. BTW, this was a while back, but this article did mention that Al-Jazeera plans (or planned, not sure if it is still in the works) to provide an english-language news channel to American audience. well obviously until i start a network i wont be fully satisfied with any of the news networks around. but since i can't possibly start one i like to have as many with as many different prespectives as possible. even if they have the aforementioned stupidity.

The question wasn't about whether they reported those stories, but reported view points opposing those stories. Of course it is ridiculous for anyone to claim that the holocause didn't exist.
Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding man, no I wasn't "verifying" what MadMax said, I was basically making fun of him for making up that bit to attempt and redicule Al-Jazeera. I was basically laughing because he was confusing a radical Wahhabi view of Jews for a news channel that is banned in the Wahhabi state of Saudi. Apparently MadMax doesn't know that not only is Al-Jazeera not a Saudi-supported outfit (It was supported financially by a Qatari prince, which is a country that is much more on the liberal end when compared to other Arab states, a country where CENTCOM is operating its war against Iraq and Afghanistan, so not an anti-American state by any stretch of the imagination), but in fact is banned in the Kingdom because they aired a segment once on a debate-oriented show (called "Opposing Directions", or "opposing views") where a London-based opposition-group member expressed his negative views about the Saudi Royal family and rediculed some aspects of Saudi society, among which was its extremely strict (and he called it "extremist") interpretation of Islam and refusal to democratize. So hope this clears things up
