I don't know, I think the knee jerk reaction based on hype might be that, but I'd think a GM would look more into it than that if they were looking to pull that trigger and they'd see a lot they didn't like.

They'd be intrigued by Green's athleticism and hype, but put off by how he's terrible at basketball.

They'd be intrigued by KPJ's game on the court, but put off by off the court issues years ago.

They'd be intrigued by Sengun's unique skillset, but put off by him being a bit undersized, his lack of a 3 point shot, and defense.

They'd be intrigued by Smith's defensive potential, but put off by how awful he is on offense.

That's why I said they might just pass. There's not much on the Rockets other teams would really want for one reason or another. They are like a collection of broken toys.

 

Hmm interesting point. I do think if Jabari becomes the shooter we thought he’d be, then it’s him by a mile. That level of defense and shooting at that height would fit with any time right away

Jabari Smith came in #1 the most, with Jalen Green #2 and Sengun was #3 but cumulatively was #2 because a lot of people had one of Green/Smith below Sengun.

I personally think that Smith and Green would go #1-2 because of their upside. Sengun is a better offensive player than both right now, more skilled, better feel and rebounder but will always need the right players around him to hide his deficiencies on defense.

I am really hoping Sengun improves his 3-ball, Smith improves his handle and Green becomes more consistent.

 

He won’t be out of the league, but keep dreaming. Sry that he smash your girl or mom, that you get in feelings over him. With that being said, I’m a rockets fan regardless of who stays or goes. You were wrong about him getting extended, so I guess you’re about to be wrong again. I’ll be here for it too

TyTy is a better point guard so I’d be okay with protecting him instead. KPJ is out of position right now but he’s a cold blooded scorer… he’d make a great 6th man imo.
