I went ahead a took out the Mavs part...every team complains, and most the stars are the one that do it....thats nothing to get upset at. Thats just todays NBA...always wanting the call.

As far as Golden State - I do think they are a much improved team, but if they were to advance...you guys would more than likely sweep them right back to Cali.

Dallas just does not match up AT ALL with them. The main key is having a big man that can score so that you can slow down the game. I honestly believe we would be better off inserting K. Willis in at Center, because he more offensive moves that Diop or Damp. Dirk doesn't post up worth a dang so when we go small...it's basically who is going to make their shots and Lord knows GS can get hot and sink everything they throw up.

For Dallas to win this series...we are going to have to start playing some hardcore defense (including knocking some players around).

    Houston - Yao
    SA - Duncan
    Phoenix - Amare
    Jazz - Okur and Boozer
    LA - who cares :)
Denver - Nene (dang has he changed as a player!!)
Dallas - Damp - NO Diop - NO Dirk - no posting up

I agree but c'mon.. 'T'ing a guy up for clapping? That's on the same level as Joey Crawford tossing Duncan out for smiling. The refs are becoming unbelievable... let the players play damnit!!

he wasn't clapping, he was showing up the refs, it was quite obvious. The Duncan incident he was on the bench and it wasn't obvious he was even laughing at the refs, but this one Davis was standing right in front of the refs clapping.

i can and i will! actually, i think it's more of the smug factor than anything else that i can't stand.

not so sure about inserting k-will into the lineup...as much as i love the guy, he really ought to be in a senior citizens league at the y or off with the globetrotters somewhere...can you imagine him trying to run with al harrington for even 2 minutes???

i honestly don't think the matchups are that much in favor of gs. i think its the fact that the warriors actually CAN matchup with the mavs that is throwing them off. in a series like this, it really comes down to who can execute their game plan better, and i would put a lot of that on the coach and mental preparation.

in order for the mavs to win, they have to:
    1) play defense. the kind that won them 67 games.
    2) attack the post. foyle ain't seeing any minutes unless most of the crowd is already off to the parking lot, so the paint is almost literally unguarded.
    3) hit the open 3. had that happened, everyone could've gone home after the 3rd quarter or so.

    gs needs to:
    1) rebound. this would include the lost art of 'boxing out', but hey you can't expect a team full of guards/small fowards to really appreciate the concept.
    2) don't let the mavs/refs get in their heads. the game is 90% mental at this point, so if they can't keep their composure, they'll just be digging their own graves.
    3) run run run. it's obvious that the mavs have trouble keeping up with the pace, so run em ragged and hope they wear down in the 4th when it really matters.
    4) keep the game close until the 4th. with all the gunners the warriors have, all they need is a chance to get hot in the last 12 mins or so.

but it's all moot anyway, bc the rockets are going to own either team to come out of this series ;) :p

    Okay which is higher:

Battier's SAT score doubled or The GS Warriors starting 5 SAT scores combined.

    I say Battier>GS starting 5

them not going to college was not meant to be my reasoning for them being dumb; just suppose to be capricious factual support relating to a humorous, yet slightly true claim.

I disagree. In fact, I turned the TV off in the 3rd 'cause I couldn't stand the awful officiating. Regardless, if they REALLY clapped after every call, they'd just anger the refs. I don't think they want to be patronized.

You're right about most of that. But leave that "don't be scared" crap out. Yup, it'll be fun to watch Rockets/Mavs
