some people are hung up on size for our powerfoward spot...havent you learned from swift that size and jumping ability is not everything.

alston and padgett for Daniels and booth. Sura and a 2nd for steven hunter makes sense also.

have you seen daniels stats this season? i wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, let alone make him a full time starter.

i think we need for of a backup PG to reduce rafers minutes. rafer has done a good job of everything but shooting, so i'd look for the best shooting PG we can get. preferably a vet who can make smart decisions with the ball in the playoffs.

chucky atkins and damon stoudamire come to mind. the TE can land them both.

we could also use a real scorer off the bench, like mobley. rumor is he can be had for the right price because the clipps would rather make maggs a starter in order to keep him happy there.

so lets say bonzi and sura for nazr. then send nazr to the clipps who have no real backups for brand or kaman. that might be the start of a deal that can bring in maggs or mobes.

Bad poll, left out back-up PG.

Vet PG to SHARE the job with Alston. Maybe one a little better shooting if not as good as Rafer in other ways.

Atkins, Stoud, A Johnson, little guy traded to Milwalkee, Mike James, etc, those type guys.

What about Melvin Ely? He could play the backup 4 or 5, he's a decent rebounder, scorer, and he wants out in Charlotte. He's also cheap.

We need a player like Melvin Ely and a poor man's Lamar Odom. A SF in a PF body with some decent all-around skills.

we really need a young athletic 6'11 7' PF/C who can run the floor.
there are so many quick PF/C in this league, as great as Mutombo/J.ho is playing, they can't stay with them.

I really wouldn't mind to have Swift back, he is still serviceable and reasonably priced.

Man, I've been all about supporting Rafer this year, but lately he's just been too much to bear. Any pass first point guard would be an upgrade. I don't think its in the Rockets plans to move him however, so hopefully when Yao gets back he will stop taking so many shots.

other than kg, there isn't a pf in the league that can matchup defensively with dirk. What I'm trying to say is there's no way we're getting kg.

Swift, despite all his talent and athleticism, can't stay with any 4s in this league. He gets too lazy in the games, doesn't play great defense and misses easy rebounds.
