there are tons of mcgrady hate threads. this is nothing like the other mcgrady threads. i think it is a question that needs to be at least considered by management. do we let this team struggle to break the water or do try giving them a helping hand. i know management wants what is best for the team in the future, but i can't see if hurting the rockets to have him play, trade or no trade, we don't DESPERATELY need to offload him, this season is about rebuilding but still fighting, we can afford to let him expire. yes, we could possibly score some b level talent for the remainder of the season, but nothing that is likely to impact us beyond this season. i think every rockets fan should take the time to objectively consider the idea that there is some left in his tank, and it will improve the team. clearly if he doesn't perform they'll have no problem sending him off again. flame me, i still love tmac
yet david andersen gets minutes, he played well tonight, but he can't finish around the rim he can't jump and his defense is pretty poor. i do expect him to improve as he adjusts to nba players and possibly gets stronger in the offseason.
