Can't tell you. I did a scouting report before and felt some teams followed it. Trust me when I say the players I seek can help the Rockets counter anything thrown their way. What if you are a Russian spy, you tell Putin, he tells Wikileaks's, Wikileaks's tells Kerr or Pops or Lue.
but of course, nothing wrong in beeing an outsider. im quite new here, and english is not my mother tounge, so im strugglig to comprehend a lot of things, media conspiracy, parking in houston, why we hate jazz, yule see and that sort of things
Suck his offensive powers with a basketball and force Beard guy just to play D. And of course. Yule C
A superstar who is paired with the ultimate god of offensive strategy in MDA. Steve Kerr is afraid of MDA right now, man. Because MDA is the guy who created Steve Kerr.
Can't win the Kentucky Derby with a pony, gotta have a quarter or thoroughbred. If you don't have the horses to implement these strategies, forget about it in a playoff series. Probably only 4 or 5 teams with the horses on the perimeter to pull it off.
Your passive-aggressive tone and underlying condescension don't help you much in terms of rationally conveying your point. He's simply pointing out specific strategies which might limit Harden's effectiveness and/or efficiency over the course of a 7 game series...it's logically absurd to imply, as you have, that because all of these strategies can't be implemented and executed perfectly at all times, that somehow they become obsolete or aren't practical. I think the OP is aware that actually stopping Harden (and thus the Rockets offense) is much more difficult than just jotting down a list of bullet points or having a pep talk with the team.
Agree with you on Memphis. I think they best us in 7 if they're healthy. Don't agree with you on the Spurs and Warriors. However if we don't get better rim protection Utah will be a very tough series for us to win too.
Utah are a superstar-less, middling team. Their best player would be great as a no.2/3 option next to Harden.
Gobert is legit and he scares me if we come up against them but outside of him I ain't got no worries. If he goes down they are middle of the road. Not that impressed so far, don't want Hayward next season. Handle is too weak, not great at creating space. MEH.
We can hang with the Spurs, and we should be 2-1 against them right now if not for a late choke job. That's a series that could go either way, sort of like playing Golden State it will come down to what team is hotter from 3 pt land. I will take my chances with those teams before I would Memphis or Utah because they have ways to really limit our offense, they can guard the perimeter with long defenders and they have good size in the paint, good at forcing turnovers and capitalizing on them. I know everyone wants to **** their pants about GS but they aren't the same team they used to be. They don't play great defense anymore and they lost a lot of important depth -- Bogut, Ezeli, Speights, Barbossa and even to some extent Barnes because he wasn't "ball dominant" like Durant seems to be. It will be interesting to see what moves get made before the deadline because I'm sure GS is looking to add another piece to their bench and that may change my attitude about them. But, as it stands the two teams I think cause the biggest matchup problems for the Rockets are Memphis and Utah.
Have a PJ Tucker / Tony Allen type player is a good way to start. Players who are both strong yet quick enough to be physically capable of attempting to defend Harden one on one. Once he's doubled he's finding the open man.
