If I were the opposing coach in the playoff, I would watch Harden on tape for like 72 hours non-stop trying to scheme plays to stop him and only to find out that's impossible. Then I would down 5 shots of Vodoka and show up in the game like a mule from Moscow just to watch my team getting killed by Harden.
Best strategy for beating the Rockets is not actually a strategy but rather an issue of personnel choices. Teams that can beat us up in the paint while also featuring long defensive wings will be tough for the Rockets to beat in a 7 game series. I think the Rockets can hang with pretty much any team other than Cleveland, Memphis or Utah. I think we could beat the Spurs or GS in a 7 game series if we're healthy.
Really? Coaches don't try to develop a strategy to beat any particular team on any particular night? I certainly hope the Rockets plan on playing the Spurs differently than the play the Wolves or Celtics during the regular season.
