    1. Wall
    2. Turner
    3. Favors or Cousins (I would be happy with either of this guys)

it pretty much boils down to that!!

Second UK Fan that I trust to say this. I can agree with this. I wouldn't mind either one of them.

The Rockets are a stable organization that will give DeMarcus the support he would need.

THIS! Evan Turner is the real deal, but teams value Wall more, so get Wall and get a package that includes Turner for him.

    Yep me too.

Doesn't Wall lead Kentucky in Assist....All Time?

If that is true, that is the type of once every 15 years type of talent you just don't trade away.

Also I'm sure if we got Wall, trading Brooks would be easier and we could land Bosh any ways without trading Wall.

It would be nice just to get into the top 3. I don't think we'd draft Turner though. I think it'd be Wesley, Cousins, or Wall.

Did Oden beat out Durant in the advanced stats also? Because I think when you get to a certain level, you just say "f-- all" to those stats and take the guy who clearly did not belong in college basketball. This year that man was John Wall, and if he was inefficient it was out of boredom or poor coaching rather than a deficiency in his game. He could blow by any two defenders placed on him in any game; why should he have been worried about efficiency?

Not that Demarcus couldn't also abuse any two defenders he was placed against. I'm just sayin, at this point you use the eyeball test because college becomes a poor gauge of how each player will do in the pros. Wall is heads and shoulders over anyone else this year and whichever team that passes him up with the first pick will live to regret it.

UGH I am so tired of everyone saying this.

Lebron? Rubio? Even Yao? There aren't talent gaps every fifteen years.

    1. Bust a nut
    2. Trade it to the Kings for Landry and their pick.

Shame on you for putting Rubio and Yao on Lebron's level. Even coming into the league, Lebron was regarded as a once in a decade type of talent.

Also, Rubio knock was that there was a good chance he isn't athletically ready for the NBA. He did not go #1 overall, he was not the type of prospect Lebron was.

Also Yao wasn't either, he was considered raw and also not ready for the NBA.

    Those two are poor examples.

Did I say they were on LeBron's level? I only listed people that had talent coming into the league, that weren't drafted even 10 years apart.

And are you kidding? If Yao had stayed healthy his entire career up to this point, he would have in MVP conversations, not to mention being the best C the NBA has seen since Hakeem.

And you haven't even seen Rubio play one game. I'm not saying he is as polished as LeBron (not even close, really), but you can't pass judgment on the kid without seeing him play NBA basketball for at least 3 years.

John Wall backup SG? Chase Budinger backup SF.

Win. Put Shane Battier in for special defensive situation like Chuck Hayes a few seasons back.

    PG: Brooks/Lowry
    SG: Martin/Wall
    SF: Ariza/Budinger/Battier
    PF: Scola/Hill?
    C: Ming/possible free agent or draft pickup/Hayes

Championship caliber lineup that is back to being defensive-oriented.

    If anything, I'd do this:

    Lowry/Wall
    Martin/Brooks

As hard as Brooks tries, he is just not the playmaker that Lowry is.

Gradually, Wall will probably take over the 1 spot.

Brooks does not have the size to play a 2. We will get exploited on defense every single possession.

Brooks might not be a playmaker, but his offensive talent attracts the defense and keeps them honest. As good as a playmaker Lowry may be, he just isn't a threat from outside, which might result less consequential Yao double-teams next year.
