I'm usually very critical of our own players. With that said, Lowry is a HUGE upgrade over Chalmers in any system and not just the Heat. Lowry proved he can hold his own and contribute in all categories as a starter. Chalmers has no business being a starter on any team and that includes a team with 2 of the 5 best players in the league. Chalmers is Matt Malony circa 1998.

I still don't know why people insist they need an upgrade at PG. The have the best PG talent wise, since Magic, already on their roster. He would actually be a better version of Magic. Same court vision and both are/were excellent passers. You would think Riley of all people would see this.

I've always thought this and continue to think this, Lebron should model his game after Magic, not Jordan. Run and gun like the showtime lakers, just get some more rebounders and let Lebron run the point.

They will fire Spoelstra and Riley will lead the team to 3 straight championships.

I don't necessarily think that they blow up the team. A finals appearance and an exit in the ECF is not a total failure by any stretch. Players are still willing to take a pay cut to chase a ring with these guys. They'll be just fine. At this point they are just a victim of their own hype. To me, they are the right track and will eventually win a title.

Can you imagine if Riley were able to pull guys like Parsons and Budinger in the second round?

    Simply delusional.

The Rockets having nothing that the Heat would want for one piece of their big three.
