It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I've dated short girls coincidentally. Although when they wear heels, they usually pass me up.

Amen, brother! While I sleep next to a chick who's 5'1", if she were 6', I'd still be there.

Doesn't this assume girls aren't repelled by short guys who? I find most girls (at least my peers) will ignore any guy shorter than them, even the tall ones.

Nope. If she's hot, she's hot. And the longer the legs the better.

No, but I could see how if there was like 5+ inch differential it would be bothersome.

Oh boy. Just now saw this thread... must try not to get irritated...

It's not like we chose to be tall, unless we wear heels. What about those of you guys who are short? Would you want to be automatically disqualified for consideration by a large percentage of the opposite sex, even the short ones, just for that? Nothing like being a tall girl and knowing the odds are against you, being automatically friend zoned by so many.

On the other hand, it's good to hear from all of you who don't mind and who have tall wives. And of course we can't be hypocrites, so we need to be open to dating shorter guys. Some of my older female relatives told me never to date anyone shorter than me. Look, that's not fair to them, not to mention it would make me a lot more likely to end up an old maid.

My husband is 5'9" so we have a little height difference in the opposite direction from most couples. We're used to it, and his mother is taller than his father so he probably grew up comfortable with the idea. I've found out that a lot of times it's the shorter guys who want to date the taller girls.

I have never met a woman taller than me (I'm 6"7). I do not think that it would bother me. It is more important that the personality match. If my wife would have been much much taller than she is now, I would still have married her.

I'm 6'4" and my wife is 6'0". I have always loved tall women...it's easily the trait that I'm most attracted to in a woman. Every once in a while she'll wear some crazy heels that makes her as tall as me, but it doesn't bother me.

    I'm 6'3 and my wife is 5'10.

Interestingly enough Isabel, she told me she couldn't date a man who was shorter than her.

Hoping my son will be at least 6'5 so he can be an anchor Left Tackle.

All i know is you better not weigh more than me.

I love long legs tho just so i can have them wrapped around me when i pick up a chick while banging her

I have very few deal breakers, and height is not one of them.

I do prefer a shorter girl, but I also don't like narrowing my options.

Definitely not a deal-breaker if they are otherwise ideal...but often times first impression is everything and I'd be lying if I said a girl that was much taller than me didn't have the odds against them as far as me wanting to pursue them. I think it's just a natural, almost subconscious thing.

I have yet to meet a woman in person that is taller than me.

I also have yet to meet a woman that says she is attracted to guys who are shorter than her.
