its called being a true MC, rookie. That's why Tupac and Biggie were on top of their game, while rookies like you are still trying to beatbox your way out of burger king.

also, how is it nostalgia? sam is STILL PLAYING.

i was preaching that sam was going to take the Clips to the playoffs, the FIRST TIME HE SET FOOT IN LA.

I even stated that the Twolves would go to crap if he gets traded.

please son. shine my shoes and quit talking.

I get the feeling that tinman's going to be campaigning for Sam to win MVP regardless of whether or not the Clips qualify for postseason play.

If Kobe can't get the MVP for leading the lackluster Lakers to the playoffs, how do you expect a far lesser player to get the award for the same feat?

Sam deserves it if he drops another season like this one:

    2003-04:
Averaged 19.8 points, 7.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 81 games played…posted career-highs in points per game (19.8 ppg), field goal percentage (.488, first among guards) and three-point field goal percentage (.398)…named an NBA All-Star for the first time in his career…named to the All-NBA Second Team and the All-Interview Second Team…finished the season ranked fifth in the NBA in assists…scored 30+ points on seven occasions…had 18 point/assist double-doubles…dished out 10+ assists on 20 occasions…named Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of 12/22/04…3/29/05 at Houston, scored his 12,0000th career point…4/4/05 vs. Memphis, scored a season-high 36 points…3/23/05 vs. San Antonio, notched his third career triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists…PLAYOFFS: Averaged 16.6 points and 4.4 assists in 16 playoff games, helping Minnesota reach the Western Conference Finals…recorded franchise playoff-record 40 point games vs. Denver on 4/18/04 and vs. Sacramento on 5/4/04.

If the Clippers makes the playoffs this year without Livingston or Brand playing for MOST of the season, I'll even push for Kaman and Quinton Ross for MVP. Without Brand, their team is done which is convenient because now they can look towards drafting O.J. Mayo.

It wasn't unbeliveable for them to make it last year ...they only missed by a game or two... I even think they would've given the Mavs a series, but not won it, though.

They will probably be the last seed to make it this year...I don't really see any other teams out West who didn't make the playoffs and improved that much in the off-season....for some reason I don't see them jumping over the Lakers or Nuggets, though.

    Dear tinman,

I don't think Sam has any hope of ever winning an MVP award. Not for lack of talent, but because of how the media and the league itself disdain Houston Rockets, even former ones. They even went so far as to give David Robinson the MVP in 1995! WHAT'SUPWITDAT?!

David for as good as he was....he wasn't even the 2nd best player that year...Shaq

Shaq lead the league that year in scoring....and averaged more rebs. than D-Rob.

So that makes him....the thir.....I mean the 4th best player that year....because that guy in Chicago came back.

If Jason Kidd was an MVP candidate that year Sam averaged 18.6 pts and 9 assists, then Sam deserved it too.

Can you IMAGINE the bandwagon hoppers if the Rockets had a PG who averaged 9 assists AND 18 PTS /GAME???

Can you IMAGINE if Sam was CHINESE??!?!!!

What if Vernon Maxwell was Chinese? Maybe some of those haters will stop hating or maybe they'll just hate some more.
