who would have thought that the religious guy, who has been told something is a sin, thinks that the OTHER side doesn't have a mind of its own.
i would like to call out anyone who watches p*rn and rails against gays as a hypocrite. no one ever brings that up. straight female and male pornographic actors engage in the same behavior as the type of so called sin that gets robertson and his ilk hot and bothered. and yet i see facebook users and message board posters fawning over p*rn stars, liking their pages, following them on twitter, going to see them in person, etc.. total hypocrisy!
How is it hypocrisy? The hypocrisy is labeling everyone into nice, neat, black and white categories and casting judgement from there. You're automatically judging people you do not even know, much less their personal beliefs. Everyone is different. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and should be respected. Forcing ones beliefs onto others is an entirely different argument.
it is hypocrisy if someone states that sodomy is a sin according to the bible and then goes on to download, watch, and refer to p*rn stars (who engage in the exact same activity) as household names. that to me is very clear. I specifically called out these hypocrites. if you support the billion dollar p*rn industry and rail against homosexuality from the standpoint of it being a sin according to god, you are a hypocrite!
Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, agreed. But that doesn't mean they're entitled to being respected or having their beliefs respected.
