We saw totally different things then. So his turnovers didn't come from driving into traffic and making the wrong reads and he scored 16/24 from the field with 7 assists. When did he even then have time to make wrong reads when getting in the the paint area? Do you mean like he made a shot off of driving into traffic but there was a better option available and he just made the bucket, doesn't mean it's the right shot to take? Is that what you mean?
No you wouldn't. You would bring up that during the 40 minutes KPJ played the team was winning. You absolutely would say that. And on nights where KPJ has these type of games that Green had tonight even on losing efforts because guess what, most of KPJ's great statistical games still result in loses, I make sure not to harp on KPJ's issues as a pg. It's just a bad time. And it does disservice to KPJ having a actual good game.
Yes they were. Dude was freaking trash on D and a some no named center outshined him the second half. Expectations are higher against weaker competition.
Nope, I am not that big of his fan, I just think he helps the Rox as the only solid dribbler. And I like how he is developing. DD
I just mean better decision making in general, those were all separate things. Sometimes he just dives into traffic and doesnt look to pass at all. And when he gets even a little bit of pressure like a double or a trap he turns it over(which DIRECTLY led to points tonight). All of those things are fine they come with age, but we just lost to the Hornets WITHOUT BALL against one of the worst defenses in the league. He was part of the problem tonight, his 41 as a plus 4 doesnt say good things about him.
Everyone here knows you would be praising KPJ tonight if he had Green's game tonight and you should because it would be a good game for him.
What that 3 players had their career highs without KPJ dribbling the air out of the ball or setting them up for "wide open looks"? KPJ mostly throws off all rhythm and flow of the offense as a PG and TBD as any other position. He has had a few stretches of games where he doesn't ball hog, but usually goes right back to it.
All I know is I wonder if someone finally told Silas to stop tanking. Cuz yesterday was the first game I've ever seen where he actually made half time adjustments. And low and behold we won... First half he put Green and Sengun on bench at same time and second unit struggled to score. Second half one of those two was always on the court and didn't sit out for what seemed like an eternity. then the defense to put Tari on Gobert. Not sure what happened yesterday but is there hope for Silas? And Garuba didn't play the second half. As he also shortened the rotation.
What a shock you take out about 20 shots from the game with KPJ and Jabari - someone else has to take them and they get career highs..... I mean, do you have anything that isn't obvious to share? DD
The only way Silas keeps his job is if we're after another year of deliberate suckitude; why waste money on a real coach? And unless you somehow, some way find great players who want to take Ferntitty's offseason cap space money, you will only find coaches who have to choose between the Rockets and an appearance on "Dancing with the Stars".
