The mindset of kpj fans r quite simple. Throw anybody under the bus as long as kpj remains a starter. If kpj looks bad, just find a target to sht on. Currently it's green. Sengun? Bench, Bruno is the better lob threat and better defender. He aint the best player, kpj is. Oh sht sengun is the real deal now kpj and sengun are both the best player (lol) Green? He sucks, should b the one sent to the bench not kpj. Projecting all around. Low iq, poor defense Smith? Sucks kpj is giving him wide open shots he just whiffing. Man somehow got a Career high w/o kpj If silas is smart, he build an offense system around sengun. Make everybody defer the ball to sengun, no more your turn my turn bs with kpj. Sending kpj to the bench is the most logical move. We been honing him to b a playmaker, someone needs to run the bench offense, green cant do it. Between green and kpj, sengun has better synergy with green.
I think it’s a given at this point that Green and KPJ have no business starting together. KPJ is the more versatile of the two, so I would be okay with the idea of Green coming off of the bench until his overall game improves, but there is no way the organization is going to do that. I think they are ride or die with the two of them, and in my opinion that means death. It’s going to cost Silas his head coaching career ultimately, which is unfortunate, but he’s probably better off as an assistant anyway.
Is that like a Trumpian, "Well, that's what they say"? i.e., "I hear Democrats eat babies and drink their blood." "Where'd you get that?" "Well, that's what they say." "Some folks"...I hope you do have your ear to the ground, truly, because this sh*t is PAINFUL.
That could work for about a week until an opposing player says we should build the offense around *insert player*.. In fact I think it's Bari's turn to lead..
The organization probably already knows they can run it through Sengun. Seems like they are more interested in rolling the ball on the court and being terrible so they can lock in another top 5 pick.
We are, and that is a fact, it doesn't matter if KPJ brings the ball up, or Sengun is the hub, the results are exactly the same - we are just not winning. One of the reasons is we start a very unbalanced lineup of 3 ball dominant guards and Sengun and Smith.....if we removed just ONE of those guards, we get a lot better.....KPJ is the best ball handler so he stays...but one of Ego or Green needs to go to the bench. That makes us more balanced - at least on offense.......on defense, we are a complete mess. Green is the worst defender by far, KPJ is not that much better as he is always peaking and trying for the steal leaving open player he should be guarding, Ego is lazy on defense, just gives up if he is beat, Smith tries and is arguably our best defender, Sengun isn't as bad as people say but he is really slow footed and has little rim protection - making our entire team D, crap. Eason helps, but we need a guard that plays both ends....and we don't have one currently. DD
Fallacy. The ball handling, facilitating and efficiency needs to be handled by an actual NBA caliber PG. It's not going to be found on the current roster. We need to move guys to GET that, not to bring it out of someone. An efficient offense starts with IQ.
For the 2nd half, let them run it through Sengun, with some TyTy thrown in. Let Jalen and KPJ do their wing thing while Bari and Tari work on themselves. Divy up the minutes accordingly. That way you see what Sengun is capable of and find out whether KPJ should stick around or not.
KPJ has great handles and is developing into a very good PG. That being said if there is an upgrade available sure....then you have to keep one of KPJ or Green - I think KPJ will always be the better player. DD
Why do you ask? I didn't say anything about trading Green specifically, but at this point I'd trade every person on the roster if the value was right.
