If Rockets don't do well next season, Van Gundy could be the first to go?

    The coach will be the first one to go, trust me. There is enough talent on this roster to advance in the playoffs, not just make it. Not that I'm saying our team is perfect...

    Oh, and you missed Alston, Hayes, and Mutumbo as far as returning players. That's 7 out of 15 returning...which I think is okay, you can't expect to win big with a completely new cast.

    Lengthy losing streak (>6 games), extended period of sub-.500 ball (15-20 games), missing the playoffs, losing in the first round, anything less than a close 6-7 game second round series and Mister Van Gundy must go, no excuses.

    The Rockets better hope nobody picks him as Mario Elie has the makings of becoming the next Avery Johnson, AND he is a Rocket.
