Not sure how they need Chuck. Gasol, Bynum, Odum ... where does Chuck fit? I could see Brooks and Battier though. Brooks for MLE and Battier for vet min. Dump Blake and Barnes. Don't see how Miller fits either.

Brooks is a restricted free agent. Suns will match a MLE offer.

I don't want you to think I'm being rude, but Walton would be useless for us.

Lol, walton is beyond useless. He is a horrible player with a horrible contract - Luke is like thabeet, but only old and with 0 potential.

I feel like Brooks is worth MLE money to them, especially considering how old Nash is. They won't overpay by giving him 8-10 mil, but I do see them matching an MLE offer by LA...

Maybe, but look at Rambis - - failed as interim in LA, failing as top dog in Wolves clothing. Look at Cleamons - - failed in one shot as not so marvelous Mav. Maybe Shaw is the exception but the bloodline is scary.

I think RA would be the best candidate for LA. As for Shaw - when do we interview him?

Between AB and Kobe noone else on the Lakers would have a chance to even touch the ball.

Valid points. Rambis has done poorly. The Mavs gave up on Cleamons too quickly, implementing the triangle offense takes time. The players didn't want to learn it. Cleamons didn't seem to be a dictator type either.
I believe Shaw is the equal of the 3 choices that the Rockets are allegedly considering.

Brian Shaw may be the second coming, I just don't know. I said what I did merely as a cautionary tale.

But, yes, it would be ironic if Lakes and Rox did their second swap...
