We're in living an all-or-nothing age of idealistic extremism where well funded interest groups trample personal decency over perfect ideals. "Incremental progress" is seen as Slippery Slopes towards tyranny and oppression.

Working with the other or compromise is seen as weakness or capitulation. Apostates are branded and canceled with the only hope of survival is some knee bending to the Cult Leader.

Libs especially love their ideological purity from above. Bernie Bros rejected Hillary and pretty much left Democrats without a working coalition for a couple years.

Liberal Speech has suffered in the wake of Trump exploiting Twitter and Facebook as a communication and intelligence gathering platform. This has led to a silencing or self censorship inside debates over the details in fear of letting the other side's wild claims earn credibility.

Our consumer mentality and the belief that our choices are the most perfect feeds into our flawed thinking. Solutions have to fix everything because thinking more about it afterwards is a failure and waste of time.

Politicians brand themselves like doctors for sick patients. This is an obvious lie that we buy into all the time because they mostly train to hide their mugs from public memory until they need to. Not unless those politicians are gunning for the throne... that's morphed into something else. Half w**** for nonstop funding, half pitbull to rouse the base.
