Seriously....can we just forget him already? He couldn't play on our roster before, he can't play for us now.

It's like after a bad divorce. You just want to forget about it already.

Man, SF3 thread is getting really old. Hey Morey, satisfy Stevie's fans by signing him into RPD or an extra mascot.

Dude, Steve is done for. Move on ;)

McDyess actually contributed to the Pistons before the trade.

I know most people "get it", but I don't understand why anyone would want Francis back. In fact, I think fans should be pissed at him. The Rockets knew he was giving nothing to them and wasn't working hard and they knew he would take the free money ($3 million) in his player option. He didn't put in the work and basically stole the money, in my opinion. As a result, it cost the Rockets a very high second round pick (likely top 3) just to dump him and get under the luxury tax.

This obsession has gone from annoying to downright disturbing.

It's hard to be upset with a guy for accepting millions of dollars that were offered to him. I agree though why would we want him back if we just got rid of him. He couldn't beat out brooks rafer or wafer for a spot.

If you are noted as Yao's "lao dao" or whatever they say he is
that means you are eternal and immortal. You will be loved as the sun and the stars. If Steve goes to Shanghai, they would give him the keys to the city. Conversely, Larry Smith will be denied access into that city.

Stevie has reached rock star status. No matter what he says or what happens, his fans will always be there. Makes you wonder if there will be another Rocket that will have this much impact on the fans. It was fun while it lasted.

Too bad ignorance isn't painful or there would be a lot of SF3 fans in a lot of pain.

    landoo,

I don't hate u or anyone for that matter, including francis. read tcab and Clutch's posts. they're only echoing what has been stated numerous times on this board in ennumerable threads.

it doesn't matter that he has contributed NOTHING of sustained substance in years. it doesn't matter that he put in ZERO effort while here to get on the court. Doc Rocket spelled it out before that he refused to help the team out. apparently that doesn't matter either!

what is most dear to you, the success of this team or just to see your boyhood idol sitting on the bench pouting like a petulant child all the while ruining team chemistry and stealing checks? think about it...this dude isn't even smart enough to give maximum effort and be on his best behavior...IN A CONTRACT YEAR!!! apparently he's not too bright on...or off...the court. we don't need that element on our team, landoo, no matter your emotional connection.

How about adding the quotes that he said. Talking bout he will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Then he kept adding weeks on and on. Or how about in the video when he was being interviewed during training camp i believe he bugged out and jumped like he was on something lol. That was funny

I thought this thread was closed, and then you likely unlock it.

As for Francis, only a role for him in this team is for a cheerleader, but Deke does better job than Francis, so there is no a room for him even although I like him as a person.

My bad, it was the thread of "Did Yao do it on purpose?" At least this thread is better than that one.

I mean really..This has to be the most tired subject on this board.

Clutch please, you should have some kind of program that instantaneously deletes your, run of the mill, garden variety, beaten to death topic, "Lets sign Steve Francis" thread, as soon as the thread starter hits the enter button.

    I mean c'mon.

I guess when Steve Francis announces his retirement from the NBA, then its fair game.

Even though I think there's a better chance that Michael Jackson will release a new album then Steve coming back to Houston or any team at all.

    aheee heee

    woooo

    sha mone
