The sad thing about that a lot of them were truthful. Clinton did receive campaign contributions from foreign contributors obviously hostile to the U.S. Clinton pardoned a drug lord, some Machertos terrorists (for the Hispanic vote in NY) and arms dealer/swindler extradordinare Marc Rich in exchange for lots of gifts. Clinton lied to a grand jury and beat an obvious perjury wrap and was later disbarred. I could go on in a Macbethesque 500-word missive, but the guy was a crook. Some of it (all the people connected to Clinton were whacked) are loopy, but most of it was the truth. Sad but true.

He still did much of what he was accused of doing. But the sissy GOP decided to go after him on something, while bad, was in no way as corrupt as some of the other scandals. You're right. It's just like basketball. If there is no whistle........
