we're talking about respected on clutchfans.

some people believe that Phil could do no wrong based on how many championships he has won.

    vs

some people believe that Tmac is a true Kobe superstar except he has not been on the right team, have the right coach or has fallen to bad luck on the injury front.

People believe Rick is wrong for not playing him.

Would they believe a coach who has coached Michael Jordan and Kobe if he denied Tmac his comeback?

It doesn't matter what the coach says. The doctor decides when he plays. When the doctor says he's ready to play full-time, he will play. It's up to coach to decide if he's good enough to crack the rotation--whether he plays or not is up to the doctors.

the same people who believed this about Steve ignored the fact the Orlando, New York, and Portland didn't want Steve to play over Jameer Nelson, Nate Robinson, and Steve Blake.

then in Houston, they were wondering why a rookie Aaron Brooks is getting minutes.

Yep, it is a team decision between the doctors and management.

HOLY CRAP! Come on, the rockets care about consistency which creates chemistry. If t-mac is in one out the the other, rox will have neither. It has nothing to do with RA or PJ being our coach. No coach wants an injured player in and out of their lineup. This reason alone gives way to the rumors that t-mac will ruin team chemistry etc. Essentially he will if the rox let him play at this moment. We are waiting until he can play every game at a high level or at least the same level our starters are playing at.

I know that Phil Jackson can tolerate the antics of his players much more than Adelman. Phil would never make it a personal resentment, he would always wan't to have his best team out on the court.
I don't like Phil Jackson, he hasn't built up a team from scratch, he always walks into a cushy job with the best players already on the team.
Coach Adelman is under a delusion if he thinks that our team of role players is going anywhere this season without McGrady!
Its about time that Les saw through what is going on and put his foot down. :p

T-Mac is a better coach than the both of them combined and he hasn't even started coaching yet! He's that good.

I have the utmost respect for both Adelman and Jackson. I don't think that this whole Mac thing is a feud at all, and I think that it's honestly that the team wants what's best for his personal future. It's kind of like in football when a player gets a concussion and wants to get right back out there, but they then wind up regretting it for the rest of their lives. I honestly believe that Les and the coaching staff just don't want Mac to get hurt.

I respect Rick's opinion more than Phil's, because Phil isn't the Rockets' coach.

TMac should sit and keep his mouth shut until Adelman decides otherwise.

Also, TOFs and anti-Tmacs should shut their mouths as well until something actually happens.

If Phil says T-mac must sit, even if he thinks he is okay, then he BETTER sit.

But if Adleman says T-Mac must sit, even if he thinks he is okay, he SHOULD play.

Phil >>>>>>>>>> Adleman (note that there are 10 ">" signs)

I say T-mac MUST play period, ariza sucks.

Tmac sits....PERIOD ok. He will start getting playing time, when he grows a pair, plays defense or how to hustle. In my opinion, he really should come off the bench and make him earn his minutes. He doesn't deserve to just be a starter, because that's what we've been doing for the past 5 years and we've failed every time. Make Tmac earn his respect, reputation and playing time back. Don't just spoon feed him.

Don't hold back, Zboy! That made me laugh

I say, if tmc was Jack's koby, he'd play 'em before he was capable of playing D, but Rick Adleman is the Rocket's Coach, and Phil is no Rick Adleman.

It's so funny, when I looked at the bold part^^, I saw Adleman >>>Phil. People see what they want to see. You see Phil as better than our coach, I guess 'cause of all of the Championships, great players he's had, NBA favor in various ways that he has had...

But I look at Adleman and see a superior coach; in intellect, adaptability, selflessness. I see a highly successful coach that has not always got the benefit of the calls when going head to head with Phil. Maybe Rick didn't have quite as NBA favored talent as Phil has had, with mj, shaq & kobe etc...

Rick has done more with less, compared to Phil. How do you think phil would have handled losing Yao, tmc in-&-out? He'd a had a tissy and he would not have enjoyed the challenge or been as successful with the results.
