Hell! After the last few days, I'm more concerned about what's going to happen when Obama wins the election.
Here is how I see it unfolding....Obama wins....anger seethes...but with the new measures in effect and the treasury department buying up the bad paper, the economy rights itself. Obama gets credit (though not completely fair) and people start to see him as the leader this country needs. Anger subsides....America gets back to work...crisis over.....McCain still mumbling and grumbling in the corner...where he belongs. DD
You guys are aware that Obama advised his cousin, Raila Odinga, to incite riots in Kenya, after he lost his election, right? There are emails that prove this. There is a precedent out there already that Obama will claim voter fraud and incite riots. That's a fact.
I hope you right. The most important thing for a president to do is to pick the right people for the right position (that is true for any leader of a large organization). He need to surround himself with competent people who can get things done correctly, be they Democrats, Repulicans, Independents or even Martins.
Here's the email TJ is talking about... Truly damning. (Assuming it's real... and it was presumably dug up in Kenya by Jerome Corsi... Lippert is Obama's Senate staffer who handles foreign affairs. Quite a shock his name would appear on things having to do with foreign affairs.) Jerome Corsi and WorldNet Daily have been pushing the line that Obama wanted to incite riots and cause class warfare in Kenya for a few weeks. However, like everything else, it doesn't bear up to the facts. Odinga did, however, have US help in his election campaign... I should note a few other things... Freepers are convinced Odinga promised to implement Sharia law even though he is... Anglican. Odinga and Obama are not from the same family and aren't anything close to first, second, third, or fourth cousins. During Obama's visit, he did not praise Obinga, but instead delivered a plea to stop corruption and violence... One can imagine a President Obama conducting diplomacy with Muslim countries or even countries that sound like they ought to be Muslim countries and the wingnuts going wild with rage that he is secretly cutting deals to undermine America.
