if novak gets cut

Exactly what I thought.

Some posters here would think Rafer is that guy.

 

Why would I care which team will pick him up if we cut him? Only thing I want know is: do we keep or cut him.

 

Just make a minor change:

From NOVAK to NOVSPAN

 

Based on our wins and losses and the insane number of fans that still adore him, my vote for receiver-of-most-slack goes to the Franchise.

 

please cut novak. go play in italy or something. prove yourself in the euroleague and then come back to the NBA when you can make a quick put back without getting stuffed to kingdom come.

i know that's harsh but all opponents have to do is put a weeeee bit of presence on novak cause his shot is so slow and hesitant and the VOILA, dude is a huge deficit on the court.

 

He should be cut, he has done nothing at all and still looks clueless.

Novak needs a few seasons in Europe where he can get playing time to develop his game.

 

I would think teams like Phoenix and Denver would be on his doorstep in a heartbeat. It's not like either of them play defense anyway.

Last season, he got a lot chance to prove himself. Especially, he started once against Suns. However, he could not catch.

In the past preseason game, I am disappoint that he had not any development, especially his defense.

 

He doesn't get cut, so your question is n/a.

 

He just doesn't have much value if all he is going to be is a tall spot up shooter. So he can get off maybe 1 or 2 shots that a short spot up shooter who could at least handle the ball a bit can't get off?

So he can't handle the ball, rebound, isn't particularly athletic to get down the court, and he can't play defense.. that's what I'm gathering from others' opinions... what good would he be in an NBA game?

 

Last year the team did not have enough to compete, this year it does....not the same roster or coaching staff.

Agree! Even flying Ryan was more useful than Novak. Make room for Carl Landry. The next Sheldon Williams!!

Big difference. We desperately needed shooters last year. This year, we have plenty of firepower.

Why wouldn't you try a sharp shooter when only 4 guys on your team could score in a game?

BTW, last year, other than TMac, only Snyder had the ability to get to the hoop, he wasn't used. This year, we have plenty of guys who can do that. That's why Snyder is on the bubble now.
