I once used the rockets winning % against the east and west to find out how many wins we would have if we played in the other conference.I got 57 wins if I remember correctly, just think how many we would have next year if we played in the east [IMG]

54-28 that is my guess if things go ok.

I just hope that we have a good low injury season.

It is about time that we finally get some of a break this year from all the injuries. Hopefully Cato will stop crying.

Remember that the last couple of years, we have been hit hard with injuries, but the old is mostly gone and the young bucks are in.

52-30, if T-Rock becomes 6th man of the year and plays like Rogers did down in Phoenix, i say 56-26, and that assuming Griffin is all that is cracked up to be

    My Predictions:
    Assuming that -
    1. Rockets resign Mo, Mooch, Bullard and Dream or Marc Jackson
    2. Lakers sign Mitch Richmond
    3. Minnesota signs Joe Smith again
    4. Webber stays with Kings

There will be 12 Very good teams in the west next season that will all push for a playoff seed.

    Western Conference
    1. Lakers - Same championship team with the addition of Richmond and Hunter and no Greg Foster [IMG]
    2. Kings - Bibby for J. Will...HUGE improvement
    3. Mavs - Same young nucleus still getting better
    4. Spurs - Robinson, Porter, Johnson all way past their primes
    5. Blazers - Loads of talent, but lack of chemistry
    6. Rockets - Minus Hakeem, the youngest team in the west besides the Clippers. Same very young team that won 45 games last season, only with the addition of Eddie Griffin and Terence Morris.
    7. Jazz - This is the year Malone and Stockton's ages will really begin to show
    8. Wolves - Will hang tough for the 8th seed...Woods and Smith will help greatly
    9. Clippers - Make a run past the Suns and almost catch the Wolves
    10. Suns - Offseason moves have killed them
    11. Nuggets - Almost same team, Cisse won't help this season, but in a few years watch out
    12. Sonics - Lack of big men will hurt this season
    13. Grizzlies - Have a lot of young talent, but they have had that for years...
    14. Warriors - Hughes at PG, Last in west...enough said

i agree with SteveFrancis3. but as far as our record is concerned, i'm going with 51-31.

griffin will have a slow start and hit the wall mid season like all rook's do.

if we make a move for a center that could play 24-30 minutes behind dream (and start in his place for 30 injured games) then we could win 55 games next season.
