No, I'd be extremely proud of Morey, followed by a bit of dismay for overpaying the third wheel, followed by pride once he pillaged some other team to trade raptorface away. Or maybe he would just sign the big 2 and keep Scola (the preferred ending). Anyway, my point is that I'm a Rockets fan for life. I don't cheer for other team, even when the Rockets aren't playing. And I don't bandwagon. Now... the bandwagoners... I'd want to hurt those people.

Actually, I have posts where people actually say Patterson is better, and if you read those Durant post's, people do say he is better.

I will be dealing with people like you who will deny that people said the Heat wound't make the playoffs etc, if the Heat win the finals, when the crow eating threads start up. No matter how many links I will post, people will not read them, or ignore them.

You have not read the Miami Heat Season thread I can tell, because if you did, you will see what Trolls and Haters are, and it will open your eyes.

It is difficult because I really hate LeBron. As a person, as a player. I just can't stand the guy. He is such a dbag.

If it were a big 3 which had somebody like Melo or CP3 or Kobe or even Deron instead of LBJ, I'd be jumping up and down. Even if it had a vag like Bosh, I'd be celebrating.

But rooting for LBJ is just really difficult to me. After how he quit on Cleveland (watch that last Celtic series, they GAVE UP) and the manner in which he left Cleveland, it is difficult to root for him. And there is no denying that prior to this postseason, he rarely ever took over games late. He was a choker, he choked on multiple occasions. Hell, it was Boobie Gibson who stepped up big to lead them past the Pistons.

The guy has zero class (doesn't shake hands with Magic opponents after getting beat, acts like a little crybaby after he doesn't get a call or get a call against him). Guys like MJ/Kobe had swag, you just knew that they were the baddest mother****ers but they had class. This guy just comes off as a douchebag and he is just trash.

To answer the question, I probably would hop on the bandwagon (well I guess stay on is the better term since I am a Rockets fan til I die). I probably would become one of those ******* "you mad" trolls like Octiv Anus or SacTown or tmac1. I would sell out my integrity as a basketball fan and stoop down to that level. But only if I stay true as a Rockets fan because I truly love this franchise.

I'd like to see the posts of people who said Patterson is better.

I have a feeling that they said he will be (a prediction) and your tiny brain was unable to comprehend.

i root for my team no matter who plays for them.

the superfriends are a-holes no matter who they play for.

if they played for the rockets i would still root for my team, and the superfriends would still be a-holes.

"If he forms a triumvirate with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Miami, the Rockets believe the team won't have enough supporting talent to support a championship team. The Rockets believe such a pairing would produce a 45-win team."

So do you think Morey just lied and manipulated the numbers or is stupid and incompetent?

    Lied and manipulauted numbers.

    Clearly.

    It was a sales pitch.

The goal wasn't to prove that Miami would suck the goal was to get Bosh (why he wanted Bosh, I have no idea). He doesn't care about how Miami does, he is trying to tell Bosh that Houston is a better option than Miami.

Is it really that difficult to understand? Why are you not getting this?

Do you realize how stupid you look?

    Where is the option for:

I would build a church in the name of Morey and worship him for the God that he is.

Where are you to preach to all the Morey worshipers on this site who take every word that comes out of his mouth as gospel then? You criticize something Morey says and you get viciously attacked by his supporters. They don't believe he lies. They don't believe his "advanced" stats can be manipulated. I'm glad you're acknowledging that he lies and manipulates numbers. Either way, with the Heat on the cusp of a championship, he looks pretty stupid as a result of that presentation.

So the fact that numbers can be manipulated is news to you? Maybe he used numbers assuming Wade+James+Bosh+5' tall elementary school kids or D-Leaguers/minor leaguers. Once again, it doesn't mean anything.

You are the only person who thinks he looks stupid as a result of this. And as a result, you are the only person looking stupid.

It was a sales pitch. He doesn't care about how Miami does. His intent was to talk Bosh out of Miami and get him into Houston. Once again, why are you not understanding this? How is it that hard of a concept?

What do you expect him to say? Something along the lines of "in Miami, your team will win 60 games and probably the championship while in Houston, our superstar bigman will probably get injured we might make it to the postseason but wouldn't get very far." Which one would you choose? Yeah I'd prefer Morey's pitch with the lies and the manipulating of numbers over that pitch.

It's not news to me. I don't know where you are getting this from. It may be a devastating reality to some of his most ardent supporters, but not me.

He didn't do that. Yes, it does mean something. It shows that his presentation was absolutely ridiculous.

You can label his presentation whatever you want, but the fact of the matter remains that Morey looks stupid for the things that he said, especially considering how the Heat are in the NBA Finals and 2 wins away from an NBA championship.

He's not much of a salesman if he has to lie and manipulate numbers to try and trick somebody into not signing with a team that is currently about to win a championship. Most people would characterize salesmen who used those types of tactics and strategies in very harsh terms.

Your preferences are irrelevant. Despite what you may think or may say, it still doesn't take away from the fact that he looks pretty stupid and silly for that gimmicky presentation filled with lies, manipulated numbers, and dishonesty.

What do you mean you will be "dealing" with.

For God sakes' you're not half as important as your think you are and your Miami Heat certainly isn't a quarter as important to this board than you think it is.

Of course people said they wouldn't make the Heat, there are also people who say Kobe is better than Jordan, or Bogut is better than Olajuwon. These people exist, I never said they didn't. You did. You spun this crap up again. Do you see what the problem is?

And I have read the Miami thread, or bits of it. This is a Rocket fanboard, nobody cares about the Miami heat as much as you do. Trust me, you're the troll around here with the way you act.

Seriously just stop making this thread about you and the Miami Heat. The superfriends did it, doesn't mean the bandwagon fans have to too.

And please do find me 10 posts where people said Patterson IS better than Bosh. You couldn't even link evidence suggesting people here think Durant IS better than Lebron (if you can't tell the difference, one concerns the future the other concerns the present).

If you can't, maybe you should take that stupid smug signature off and respect this board for once.

    The voice of reason. Repped.

For the record, I don't have a problem with all heat fans, just those who act like children. (ApUn, SacTown, Octavanius, that other guy who worships Oct, and probably missing one or two more)

I would still watch them.....i remember that a few fans said they would personally suck morey's pipe if he was able to do smaller moves than the one on the title, I cant imagine what they would have done to morey if he actually pulled this off:grin:

I hate how they would add bandwagon fans to the Rockets. When watching Miami fans, all I can think about is…”those guys aren’t real fans”

I would hate the bandwagon players. Players will flock to Houston for the chance of a championship. Old players like Tmac will start campaigning to get on the team. This is as annoying to me as the bandwagon fans.

The trio would be dangerous, but I hate how they score 90 percent of the team’s points. Not only that, but we’d lose a lot of our current players. We’ve seen Lowry, Hayes, Lee, and Scola fight night in and night out. Part of me wants see some of the players grow.

Those players have no loyalty to the Rockets. You can tell that Yao, Lowry, and Scola love it here, and the next time they’re free-agents they won’t just jet like Lebron did.

Bottom line is almost nobody will quit cheering for their team because of personnel. That’s silly. However, it would have a different feel and atmosphere. If they win a championship...I would feel that they didn’t deserve it as much as our previous championship teams.

The victories aren’t as satisfying for a team that is instantly good versus a team that grows into that champion caliber team.

When we got Tracy, I was ecstatic, but he showed that nothing is guaranteed. Who would have known that we wouldn’t get out of the first round with Tracy McGrady? Even if we get the big three, we won’t be guaranteed championships. This happen...injuries happen.

Of course I would still be a fan, this is my city and this is my team. That's the only situation I think this "superstars joining together" scenario should be allowed... on the Rockets. :)
