Carl, what is your infatuation with the effects of racist remarks?

Seriously, you have two modes. The first is an honest, analytical mode that makes you a valuable member of the BBS.

The second is sensationalist, racist and flatlined stupid mode that makes me question whether the intelligent posts you make are actually made by the same person.

When you're in your stupid mode, almost every post you make has some racist remark.

Stop seeing colors, man. Show more intellect. Please. I like that Carl.

For the record, this is a stupid thread designed to instigate the effects of your racism.

    Yeah, quite frankly.

The population of US is nothing compared to the one of India or China. The more people watching the games, the more money a team gets. Also you've got to account the amount of Indians or Chinese buying a T-Mac jersey or any other Rockets product and yeah, with Les at the healm, he probably would have kept T-Mac just for the moulah.

I remember Morey saying that our games were watched more than the Superbowl.

    Indian Name: Running Bear

Appreciate your thoughts, but what do you think the discussion reflected in the following thread is designed to do?

I'm assuming the Chinese and Indian T-Mac was born in America, so:

    Chinese American - Tracy Li
    Indian American - Tracy Singh

    Chinese: Tian Ren Ma

I think Carl is the black VanGundier. I think that poster was everything you like about Carl. I think that poster either got annoyed/jaded by the plethora of stupid, blatantly offensive, and just plain ignorant posts on this board. I think that created the duality you see now. One part (sometimes as part of a back to back post even) he is the same insightful poster he always was. Other times he is this character, created to mock and highlight the types of post that this board would be better off without. Now I think its a combination of him still doing that (this is obviously a mock thread to highlight the thread about Yao), and him just enjoying dicking with people a bit.

This is the dumbest Clutchfans thread ever. EVER.

If you remember back in '99-'01, just before Yao came on board, Rockets starting center Ranbir Nirupama had a HUGE following in India, yet he was still traded to the Grand Rapids Whitewaters just before the trading deadline.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

How many 7'6" Centers do you know of that are highly skilled and shoot lights out in the world, much less the NBA?

How many 6'7"-6'8" athletic, streaky shooting wings are there in the NBA?

Exactly. Both have been injured but only one is expendible with another 6'7" wing that is healthy and more efficient able to be attained for essentially a swap.

If McGrady was Chinese or Indian and still a 6'8" athletic wing who was injured, my guess is he would be treated the same by an organization who is regarded as one of the most culturally rich sports organizations in the nation.
