If he gets replaced by Nash or Kidd, of course the team would do better. If Rafer got replaced by Nash or Kidd the Rockets would do better. The relevant question is, if Starbury replaces Rafer, do the Rockets do better? Isn't it worth the minimum to find out?
heck no! What's the point? He's the same type of guard as Francis. Our guards had some bad shooting nights, so what? Can't we have some faiths on them and see what happens in the next few games? Don't forget we're still a "new team". Plus we should at least put Francis in the rotation before we say no to them.
The last thing this team needs is another point guard on the roster. What we need to do is let them play and adjust to this new offensive style except for rafer, he needs to be benched. All that aside if the point guard situation doesn't work with the current roster we can make a trade later on down the line.
i was not able to watch the last couple of games, going by the box score, rafer & james was having a bad game shooting. What about their defense, movement and overall play? Can anyway that watch the games enlighten me. With the low shooting % they are showing right now, i would trade out both rafer and james to make place for him in the team.
