Doesn't surprise me one bit. Let the desperate Lakers have him, no way we pick up a cancer like Marbury.

That is my guess as to where he would go too....the Lakers....

Marbury needs to be on a team with an established Superstar, someone he respects....same thing with Rodman.

He didn't respect KG. Who else will he respect? This Guy is the biggest loser along with J oneal and C. webber. He will be another SF3.

the fact is, he is a talent... the more talent we have the better.

thats not to say he'd fit. but you sign him and trade him if he doesn't work.

fact is, teams will want to have him for a few more years.

    the fact is:

he is crazy, a nutjob, on the nerve of a ron-artest like breakdown...

he lives in bizarro-world, have you guys seen his recent television appearances?

he is a thug, his entourage is bad news, HE ADMITTED TO HAVING SEX WITH A MSG INTERN AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT ISIAH DID AND SAID TO HIS SECRETARY...

he walked out of that courtroom appearance singing to himself...he may be talented, but he has never, EVER shown that he is a winner. he has never advanced out of the first round of the playoffs, every team he leaves improves dramatically, and every team he joins trades him after a tumultuos two or three year marriage with him...

IF he is bought out, we MUST take a look. Marbury still puts fear in the eyes of defenders when he is coming down the court. Rafer somehow instills confidence in opposing defenders because they know they can take it easy on defense.

Actually, Paul Pierce & Kevin Garnett have both been on teams that have made it to the conference finals. Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady have been on a 50+ win regular season team even if they haven't made it past the first round. Stephon Marbuy has slipped into the playoffs a few times, but for most of his career he's played on cellar dwellers. He seems the very epitome of the "Who cares if we win? Check out my stat line!" mentality. I don't put him in the class with Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Yao or McGrady. I put him in the class of Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Marbury doesn't know how to do anything but lose.

Not all of us. I'm not vying for Francis to get playing time. To the contrary, I think he's earned his place on the bench.

He is a perennial loser. I don't care if he has talent. The Knicks on a scale of talent are a top 5 team in the league. They can't even make the playoffs in the East.

Marbury leaves Nets - Kidd takes over same exact squad and goes to 2 straight Finals

Marbury leaves Suns - Nash takes same team and wins 2 MVP's and 2 trips to the West finals

And talentwise Marbury is better than both of them.

The season just started, and the team look good so far (at least you want a 82-0 record and perfect teamwork in november)
You won't get marbury for free (even from the knicks), he is a shot first guard and an I first bb player. I say NO

Marbury is a cancer. He's like the plague anything he touches just dies. Why get marbury when we have a good point guard.

Somehow I don't think Stephon would be much of a Tiny Archibald for the Rox. This guy has got nothing going on in the "Rockets compatibility" dept. He'd just be a grump and bum us all out.

SO, we SHOULD get him, then trade him away immediately = championship.
