No, look at how many offseason Cuban has failed with his bs game plan. He plays too much. The more you look like a damn clown the less people respect you. He thinks he can just steal away Houston's trash and bring back a scrub from a championship run and recreate titles. That aint how the game works. I laughed that he got mad when we got Howard. It was a race between us and LA... That's it! What planet is he living on that he thinks he can just lure these free agents in for no real hope of winning? I do feel sorry for them in a way for the DJ thing. That's a totally classless move by a free agent, and it ruined their offseason.

Cu99an's team lost to the Rockets. Too bad for you!

Not sure if 'dumb' is the right word, but he certainly hasn't made use of all the various tools to manipulate the cap that are available. Agree with the rest.

Cu99an's not from Houston either, but you still want him. Why? His team sucks.

Well, I saw him get pretty damn involved in the Parsons signing. Didn't see Nelson in the club he signed him in. Didn't see or hear of Nelson calling or knocking on Jordan's door this year. I did hear that Matthews was at dinner with Parsons and Cuban in LA before he signed this year. Not sure if Nelson was there. I also know he was present when trying to woo Dwight away.

I don't necessarily knock Cuban for doing this now. He's kinda set himself up as this involved owner and any F/A who doesn't get his personal attention will consider it a snub at this point. But he's definitely much more involved than Alexander and you have to wonder based on the above if Cuban interferes somewhat with Donnie in the course of his work.

Cuban could have hired Morey back when Morey was working for Stats. But he didn't.

    Les did.

No way Cuban hires Morey now. This is a rivalry in his mind and he hates Morey.

What other explanation could there be to hiring Parsons to a max deal?

To give us an untradeable contract when Durant becomes a free agent

So what the US has had more than 1 president as well. So Cuban made Dallas Mavs profitable...so what? Didn't you just blast Le$ Alexander for turning the Rockets into an investment? So why the props for Cuban doing the same thing with the Mavericks?

Personally I don't think there's too much a difference between Mark Cuban and James Dolan as owners:
    1) Both are billionaires
    2) Both are douches
    3) Both pay luxury taxes to show their "passion" for the NBA
    4) Both are way to involved with the running of their franchise

The only difference is Cuban built his empire so he is really smart whereas Dolan inherited his empire from his dad so maybe he isn't as good. The problem is similar with Dolan, the Mavs will only go as far as Cuban takes them, it doesn't matter how good their GM, Coaches and staff are Cuban will always be the one to make the final call.

Contrast this with Peter Holt, Les Alexander and the owner of the GSW, these owners hired extremely competent people and then let those guys run the show. Cuban is like the restaurant owner hiring the 5 star chef and then interfering with the recipes because he has passion for food LOL

If you look past the dallas hate, you realize he did hire competent people, they did win a title.
Rick carlisle is still a good coach.

Why is espning ranking cuban higher than les in front office?

Didn't we get jason terry from them?

You must really hate cuban by comparing him to dolan.

The knicks have been irrelevant for many years.

Can't say that about the mavericks

The golden state owner personally fired mark jackson because the executives didn't like him.

    It's all documented. Google.

Why did Dallas let Terry go? Dummies.

We should give out wins and losses based on ESPN rankings.
