If Les Alexander and Mark Cuban switched teams, would the Rockets be better?

Which part is Mark Cuban's good part?

I've never liked the Mavs of Mark Cuban, never wished we had the roster of Mark Cuban, never wished to see Mark Cuban sitting on the sideline in Rockets red. . . . What am I missing here?

You claimed Les prefers sponsorships over championships.... I guess you've conceded that point since you've moved on since I've givben my rebuttel.

Mark Cuban is highly overrated as an owner. The Mavs wouldn't have won anything without Dirk and he was already on the roster when Cuban bought them. Les has been a very good owner so this whole conversation is pretty stupid IMO.

 

All of those links put spending and winning as their main indicator, so of course Cuban looks better since the Mavs have been a better franchise since they drafted Dirk.

There are no legitimate reasons to put Cuban over Les, they both have their flaws and strengths. Cuban breaking up a championship team to chase FA's with capspace and flexibility is my ultimate knock on him and illustrates how he meddles into things that aren't his expertise.

How would that be any different if one of us owned the team. If you ever read that bbs that is what its about people whining and complaining about the refs, other teams etc.

I wouldn't expect the owner to act like a crazed fan. The rest of us aren't owners of an NBA franchise. The man runs a business and has to show some professionalism.

The "superstars" are wishing for Mark Cuban. They like what he has done with the Mavs. They wish that the Rockets had been getting the Mark Cuban treatment for the past fifteen years. Am I getting anything wrong here?

 

Point? I don't hate Cuban. I'm one of a few that loves that cat, bro. I'm lost on the point.

 

Besides, I never paid a lick of attention then to the poll. I read the thread title, and answered, not considering Les and/or Morey on bit.

 

Just the way Lin revealed a certain type of fan, so Cuban is revealing a certain type of fan: they don't necessarily support the whole Rockets organization.
