I don't mind taking the Spurs FO but the Mavs aren't moving the needle.

And like 64% of Americans don't believe in evolution, public polls are meaningless as the general public is stupid. Especially here on CF, where half the posters are under 18.... So yea... Feel good about about of idiots agreeing with you.

Lolz and yet I'm still smarter...

I've never seen any one poster (Tinman) get such a thorough beat down. He's got the votes, but no one coming to his aid. And a two-star thread. As Tinman said, "The people have spoken."

Dude what is wrong with you? So far tinman has owned the crap out of you, and had the force of the majority of Clutchfans behind him. I actually did type out a response to your stupid core comment where I dumbed it down, and believe me I dumbed it down plenty. Before replying I knew what the response was going to be, your dense head parroting the same crap over and over again. Its just like you bumping the fire Mchale thread every day with "The greatest winning % in rockets history" with your fraudulent crap. I don't think anybody gives a damn about how well you do in the regular season, its the playoffs that count. If that doesn't get through to you, you have to understand why people put you on ignore or ignore you by scrolling through your posts. The facts, the % of clutchfans, the recent comments made by Les only diminish your position.

Saying he got "owned" doesn't make it true, especially when the contrary is the case...it just makes you look like a petulant child that needs the keyboard taken away from him or put in timeout. So enough with the personal attacks and grow up. You are embarrassing yourself, the clutch crew, the majority of Clutchfans, and even Clutch can vouch for him. You? Not so much. The one donkey guy you have giggling with you admitted he has had multiple accounts for a while probably because he keeps getting banned for being an idiot. Re-evaluate your position the next time you respond.

Oh I do believe you can dumb stuff way down. . . .

Yes, I agree with you that only the playoffs matter. So it is foolish to evaluate the team until that time. We can shut up about McHale's regular season. Agreed?

Everyone is embarrassed that I support Les Alexander and you support Mark Cuban? Well, that's their problem.

Yeah, I'm super afraid of getting banned for belittling Mark Cuban and saying Les Alexander is responsible for the Rockets.

(Can you stop scaring me with your brain?)

    LosPollos,

He's like Ted Beneke buying a mercedes instead of paying off his IRS bill.
Some people just don't get it.

    No,

multiple accounts means you have been banned before or you need multiple accounts because nobody responded to your last account.

LOLZ. Public polls just show how stupid people are or how little they follow other teams. You maybe surprised how many people think the sun revolves around the Earth based on public opinion.

Oh no, he got owned. I'll own you too if you can actually discuss basketball and not the typical "talking points" of the chicken little crowd.

Yea I have multiple accounts spanning 13 years, can't keep up with them. Trust me, I've been lurking longer here longer than most posters and don't like posting because of the pure stupidity on here. Trust me, I am smarter than you and will own you. Put up or shut up.

No it means I've been here so long and don't post too often. I forget old accounts and have to create new ones. Probably the most I've posted on this site in one day over the 10 odd years I've been on here.

You don't get it. Cuban is a very hands on owner who has signed multiple, terrible contracts and has had very little draft and player development success. Les never made as big of a mistake as completely blowing up a championship in order to potentially sign FAs, yet here you are arguing for Cuban. How does that move the needle for the Rockets?

the vocal newbs here still don't get what the owner does or what he represents.

    TROLOLOLOLOLZ. What does that prove?

Prove your statement. What potential championship team(s) did Les squander over making more money?

This is a hypothetical situation, yet you take this as personal attack on your rocket fandom when someone questions the performance of the owner.

Les never made a mistake is where you are wrong and where you lack of Rockets knowledge and history haunts you

Some of this is on the GM and some on the Owner, yet you don't understand this.

When the last 3 hall of fame level coaches were let go in a less than classy way, that's the owner

when former players say they are short changed on tv, year after year after year, that's the owner

when the fans complain they suddenly can't watch the Rockets on TV while they pay for premium cable, that's the owner

when the fans complain about how ugly the jerseys are and the owner doesn't care, that's the owner

when the stadium is setup solely for business clients that's the owner

when the businesses and partners complain about the rockets as cheap, that's the owner

when you have a reputation for not taking care of your players, that's the owner

You act as though a vocal minority negates a silent majority. Enjoy your fruitless tiff though. It seems as though it has added a modicum of meaning to your life and, I suppose, we're all happy for you.

Why do you need to go to "business school 101" to understand how Les values "sponsorship/profit" over championships. It was a pretty straightforward statement you made; what potential championship rosters did Les choose money over rings?

Oh and "business school 101"? Really? Do you understand how college and higher education works...............?

Nope, you've always taken it personal as you feel the Rockets owe you or something stupid like that. You were quite the different poster 10 years ago.... are you still mad about TMac? Let it go.....

Please point out where I made that claim. I'm arguing that Cuban isn't any better and at best it would be a wash.

No, you are assuming Cuban runs his franchise like Les. He doesn't at all and his hands on approach has the led to quite a few mistakes. They are two different types of owners and I wouldn't want Cuban making basketball decisions over Morey in your hypothetical.

And? I think you're more butthurt than the coaches. JVG, who in my opinion, got the worst of it, loves the Rockets and the organization.

That says more about you as a person when you are taking Charles Barkley's side.

when the fans complain they suddenly can't watch the Rockets on TV while they pay for premium cable, that's the owner

when the fans complain about how ugly the jerseys are and the owner doesn't care, that's the owner

Solely? The upperbowl is usually packed with the common folk. If you want to amend your statement to "the lower bowl is mostly setup to cater to corporate clients" then I can agree with you.

    Cheap how? Give me specifics?

Based on what? Which players are vocal about that issue? Be specific.

The poll results speak for tinman.

43% on the best Rockets forum on the planet.

Would be much worse for Le$ on a neutral forum.

Le$ would get massacred on a Mavs forum.

Les didn't get his lucrative sponsorship deals until way past the first two championships, he hit the jackpop with Yao Ming

Ever since, he's been quite content, hence his statement about he doesn't care losing first round playoff series
