It's pointless to argue with these clowns.

why does ESPN rate Cuban higher than Les?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/10710924/2014-nba-front-office-rankings-owners

    1

    San Antonio Spurs
Spurs Sports & Entertainment, Peter Holt 9.16

    2

    Dallas Mavericks
Dallas Basketball Limited, Mark Cuban 8.48

    3

    Miami Heat
Miami Heat Limited Partnership, Micky Arison 8.43

    4

    Boston Celtics
Boston Basketball Partners LLC, Wyc Grousbeck 7.75

Actually, Les is no where close to writing checks as Cuban does. Les has flat out said he will never go over the luxury tax threshhold (unless for a important missing piece/star), whatever that means. Most all owners of a 50+ teams would go into tax territory for a superstar.

Les is in no way a prolific spender like Cuban.

LOLZ because most of the posters are idiots with no clue about context. And ESPN just asked a panal to rate owners... highly scientific...

Cuban lucked into Dirk, one of the greatest offensive PFs in history, and only managed to win 1 title. He then blew up his championship team in order for flexibility and capspace in order to chase DWill and Dwight. LOLZ... yea brillant.

who's luckier? Les getting Hakeem Olajuwon , the MVP, in his prime, and wins a championship the first year

or Cuban, who does not inherit a championship team or the current MVP

    brother 99er,

So you had mentioned the Mavs arena being more fan friendly:

    http://www.forbes.com/pictures/mli45emhdf/10-dallas-mavericks/

The Mavericks posted the second-highest average attendance in the NBA during the 2013-14 season with 19,950 at American Airlines Center. The Mavs currently have the longest sellout streak in the four major sports. They have sold out every game since December 15, 2001 with the streak topping 500 games last year.

Les has made the Toyota Center very business friendly to business clients, I know, I've been at one of the suites, however we need better options for car washers like sirbauhu to watch games too

Fair point, but Les got the most out of Hakeem compared to Cuban. Cuban had Dirk his entire career and will only manage 1 title. What's your excuse for blowing up the Mavs champsionship core for flexibility and capspace to chase bigger FAs?

That's the only thing that bothers me about the organization, the lower bowl looks embarassing. Otherwise, Cuban is just an owner who spends too much on bad contracts and runs his mouth too much.

what's your excuse since the last time the Rockets made the Conference Finals,

Les Alexander's favorite player CHARLES BARKLEY was the last person to help the Rockets get that far.

And Les still owes him money.

So are you still pissed we got Jason Terry? I doubt it.

If you are open to change, why not ownership? why is that a forbidden subject?

I'm sorry, but we'd be much better off if we had Cuban. Les is a cheap dude.

After rudy T and the treatment of our last coaches, this is my next biggest gripe. My mom (who doesn't even watch basketball) sometimes points it out, and I'm left making some stupid excuse about why its always so empty.

Don't be rude. Answer my question first then I'll answer yours. Don't deflect.

CSN didn't affect me, but from what I gathered the Astros were the majority owners in that contract.

Perhaps you're better suited to be a Boston/New England fan....
