If Lebron wants to leave Cleveland, why isn't he just as realistic as Bosh?

So would Bosh rather go to a team such as the Clippers and be "The Man" or would he want to team with a mega star like LeBron and WIN?

It's not an honor to be wearing a Clippers uniform.

Wearing the USA on your chest is an honor and turning down an invite would be un-patriotic.

    It's comparing apples to oranges.

He's said he wants both. And Houston is his best chance for both. Besides, the Olympics thing is only for a couple of weeks and hardly a big deal - I'm sure Lebron would not accept being a #2 on an NBA team either, but he took a back seat to Kobe in the final.

Man there is no way LeBron comes here. It won't happen. He'd head to Miami before coming here.

Playing on Team USA is completely different from being in the NBA. Guys line up to play for the USA team. Would Bosh take the minimum to win, just because he played in the Olympics for nothing? Of course not!

OLYMPICS ASIDE.....Bosh would rather join a team AND get a max contract where he would be a #2 and WIN, than be the #1 and lose.

Because Lebron is more than a basketball star, he's a celeb. Houston isnt home to celebrities. He will go to some place like NY. He's just as likly to go to the Nets as he is to here. Sucks, but gotta face the truth.

No, we don't know that. We will find out though, but from Bosh's own words he WANTS to be the guy.

He's going to be 2nd fiddle to Lebron or Wade. As a fan you may not think of it as a big deal, but from a players point of view, and if Lebron&Bosh wins 3 rings....Bosh will always go down as that other guy.

Think about Pippen, Pippen always wanted to win a ring as the guy, the main man.

Look at Kobe, after winning with Shaq...he started to get frustrated. Shaq eventually is forced out of LA and Kobe finally has his shot at being the man. His legacy is better for it also.

Bosh has a chance at being the man on a very good Rockets team (if they can manage their injuries) and if he comes here without us losing much, i'm sure most of the nation will consider was a contender. For a guy that want's to be the man AND wants to win, that's hard to pass up on.

Also If he goes to NY with Lebron or Miami with Wade i'm calling it right now that it will lead to disappointment the first initial years...those teams have no depth. Two stars don't suddenly make you a contender, you also need some very good role players and the Rockets are filled with that.

I dont think that if Cleveland loses to the Celtics Lebron is certainly going to leave Cleveland. He is going to be very disappointed and may look at other teams but dont be surprised if he stays in his home state of Ohio. He will probably be like Kobe and demand that the Cavs get better depth from the bench. Remember he will probably put a lot of blame on himself for Game 5 where he shot 3 for 14.

How can we not know that? What player in their crazy mind would rather lose but still have that mention of "Top Dog" than being second fiddle on a good team?

Bosh has options that's all I'm saying. I am not ruling out him going to New York just because LeBron might. All of you that have that "He wants to be the man." mentality are surely mistaken. But seeing as how we are in a great situation, there is a strong chance he could come here too.

Umm...every player that has ever taken a large contract with no regards to the team he is going to.

Also again, Kobe who had a great teammate in Shaq proved that he rather be the man on a losing team than play for a winner and be Robin. Of course now he has no problem being Robin, but things change as you grow old in the NBA and realize you just want to win.

You have said with certainty that Bosh main priority is winning, which MAY be true, we have no idea what is going on in his mind though and he has said that maybe he's selfish but HE FEELS he should have a team built around him.

Also, as you know we are not a bad team. He can be the man here AND play on a winning team.

Does Cavs have a Chinese owner? I am not sure if Lebron wants to come here, but if he does, I think the Cavs may be more willing to do a S & T for Yao than for offers from other teams.

    Yao/Ariza/CBud for Lebron
    and then trade for Bosh

    brooks/martin/james/scola/bosh

I just a got feeling LeBron is going to recruit Wade to come to New York with him after getting eliminated by the Celtics. The thought of playing with a star in a great city is too tempting. Especially looking back at the dismal Cavs team that get eliminated year after year. There is no way he feels good of coming back and playing for the Cavs again.

But at the same time, i think if he were to come to Houston...the chance of getting a Championship is just as good (if not better) as playing with Wade.
