If Lebron James was in the draft would we select him #1

    If you were to take a look at who were projected to be #1 picks on places like NBADraft.net 1 or 2 years out they are almost never right. I remember Terrence Morris and Loren Woods being at #1 for a while.

    In response to saleem, I have seen James play a few times, and my opinion based on limited observation is that he is a good ballhandler, and will be more than adequate at the 3, and could probably play a bit of point forward. His defense is not ready for the NBA, but really that isn't his fault. He just doesn't have experience against guys that will approach his athleticism and size in a structured game setting. He guards much shorter players usually, and can hold his own quickness-wise. However he is going to have growing pains against the NBA threes, which is to be expected.
