There is a person called Michael Jordan who won 6 rings! Kobe is up there but he is not the greatest.

You keep dancing around the point. Your OP is stating that if Kobe wins his 5th ring he will somehow be better than MJ who has 6th (???), and has more finals MVP AND season MVP's than he does. MJ has more team success and individual success than Kobe at this point in time EVEN if he wins his 5th ring this year. Answer this "rebuttal" first before you keep making hypothetical scenarios like if Kobe won 10 rings more before his career is up (wtf? He'd be like what, 40?).

Also can someone with a net tracer check on goodbug and rock4ever? I'm usually not one to accuse people of having a multiple account, however the idiocy of these two posters are uncannily similar.

I've said it all along, Lebron's the greatest regular season player EVER. Within 82 games he gets the job done better than anybody hands down. They should make a whole different category for best regular season performer just so you Lebron fans won't leavthe seasons feeling empty handed every year he fails

Hypothetically, literally, philosophically, physically, and whatever other qualifier you want to put on your "argument", Kobe Bryant will never touch Jordan's accomplishments. Plain and simple. One championship this year will not change that fact. And I have NO love for Micheal Jordan.....I actually didn't like him all that much when he was playing. I respected the hell out of him though, and I can see reality for what it is. Based on pure skill alone, I think Hakeem was better than BOTH of them.....but skill isn't the only factor when determining something like this. You keep saying "ignore the stats, ignore the stats...." but if the stats weren't so LOPSIDEDLY in favor of Jordan, you wouldn't be saying that. His accomplishments have gone down as some of the greatest in the history of sports itself, yet you want to IGNORE THEM because that's the only way your argument holds any water. It's not right.

The only person acting on emotion here is you, because you can't let go of the fact that someone can be great, without being the greatest of all time. Nobody here is taking away from ANYTHING Kobe has done.....he's an amazing player, and will absolutely go down in history as the greatest of THIS GENERATION (as long as LeBron doesn't win 6 Titles in his career), but not even Kobe HIMSELF regards himself as the GOAT.

And I REALLY, REALLY want you to address the laundry list of accomplishments that Jordan has compared with Bryant's. You have yet to break down exactly HOW all of that should be ignored when discussing these two players. Life isn't a vacuum, and you can't pick and choose what points should be acceptable in a debate.

LBJ is NOT the greatest regular season player EVER. And Kobe is NOT the greatest playoff player ever if that is what you are insinuating. Oscar Robertson is the greatest regular season player EVER, and Jordan is the greatest playoff performer EVER.

So what? I'm not claiming Shaq is the greatest ever. The OP is stating Kobe is.

Of course he's gonna dodge the stats. I actually don't think there's anything that Kobe has surpassed Jordan in. Even in terms of shoe sales although he's retired already the airjordans outsell Kobe hyperpump whatevers.

Also Kobe doin work can't hold Space Jam's jockstrap

Well the "rapist" has 35 thru 3 quarters. Hopefully the Lakers best player Pau Gasol can carry his team in the 4th

He's still not better than MJ though. Why don't you admit you were smoking something when you made this thread?
