QFT. kobe will NEVER be the GOAT regardless of what he does.

well, unless he wins 5 more MVPs, 7-8 more scoring titles, 2 or more championships, and bring his PPG average up another 5 points for his career.

lebron has a much better chance of being the GOAT than kobe.

Folks give Kobe credit. They properly note that he has 4 titles, 3 of which he was the secondary option and another in which he was the primary option and led his team to a title. You never hear anyone say Drexler led the 95 Rockets to a title. You are trying to give a guy credit for leading a team to 4 rings when he won 4 rings, leading a team to 1 of them.

Those collection of role players still = more talent than the majority of the teams in the league last year, and more talent than any team he faced in the playoffs, especially since two of them had key players injured.

You are naming guys that won the majority of their titles, or at least more than 1, as primary options. Kobe does not fit in that category, so how can he be the GOAT? You might as well say Pippen is the GOAT if that's the case.

I never said anything about him being GOAT. Him being GOAT or not is irrelevant. I'm saying fans that dislike him want to pretend he wasn't a major part in those 00-02 titles, 1b option. Those titles are his as much as 95 was to Drexler. Then the same illogical fans give the credit to Gasol that they try not to give Bryant.

    It's hate.

I didn't say you did call Kobe the GOAT. I was simply pointing out that there is just as much blind Kobe love as there is blind Kobe hate.

Nobody denied Kobe's contribution in those championships. He was as big a part as Pippen in those Bulls championships. There you go.
