Thats a fair observation. I am frustrated at this point. Dont see the moves he is waiting on developing in my own mind. Hope he has the plan in mind I cant see forming at this moment.

You and me both. I think some of "those moves" including making a play for Carmelo Anthony and for Deron Williams. Apparently, the Rockets were in on both of those sweepstakes. It's just that (a) Melo wanted New York and nowhere else and (b) the Nets gave away such an insane amount of "assets" that Houston simply could not match the offer for Williams.

Morey will keep trying, though. I'm sure of that.

The guy is among the leaders in blocks and rebounds, percentage wise. And while it's easy to say that he only puts up those numbers because he plays 6 MPG, he must be doing something right. Not all bench warmers produce at such a high level, do they?(calling Squid fans)

Haddidi would have been parted with and whatever else it took to make the salaries work. He's better than Thabeet, case closed.

Being "better than Thabeet" means zero. "Case closed".

A scrub is a scrub and scrubs don't make you better.

    Exactly.

We're making a big deal of out the difference between a stale 3 week old turkey sandwich and some BBQ that's been in and out of the fridge multiple times over that same time period. The value is purely in the future ferilitizer you can get from them.

The Rockets (smartly IMO) recognized they wouldn't be a serious WC contender within the time frame of what little gas Battier still has in his tank. They gambled on some upside potential and a future pick.

They do this with regularity. Signing Artest and bringing back Steve Francis are only two of the low risk - potential high reward scenarios that the Thabeet trade follows.

Everytime Hadadi has got meaningfull minutes he has produced this season. He is not a scrub. Given the minutes he can be a borderline starting C. He is in the wrong situation in Memphis

Each NBA team can only fit one communist comrade on their team at one time. Having Hamed Ha-big-daddi would mean Stern having trade embargoes for our team which would mean no Chris Paul or Emeka Okafor for our team.

    Haddadi, Thabeett... damn foreigners.

Whatever happened to good ole fashion Smith.

BTW, Thabeet sucks donkeys. He failed to impress in a league that Mike Harris was a former MVP.
